Story

Curious Traveller is the brainchild of Ian Connellan and Gail MacCallum – editors, publishers and closet adventurers, journalists and photographers, incurably drawn to anything they don't know about… Ian and Gail fled the Sydney publishing scene for the peace and quiet of Hobart, Tasmania, in 2013. Now they organise Behind the Scenes expeditions to do cool stuff in cool places with cool people (scientists, mainly). They also write stories and make photographs and help other people make better photographs – they run Australian Geographic Society Photography Masterclasses. (And they grow veggies and relish fresh Tassie produce and great Tassie wine – but that's another story…)
