Cafe located within Queen's Park in Moonee Ponds. Lovely location just a short distance from the pond. There are plenty of outdoor seatings available with cafe umbrellas in case it gets too hot. There is also a cozy, undercover nook that is shaded just around the corner of the cafe limited seating. It was cold during our visit and they had the heaters turned on. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed the ambience. We ordered coffees and teas - they were OK. Wait staffs were friendly.
Enjoyed breakfast by the Lake in the park and it was quite pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful, and prices pretty good considering the location. The food and coffee were good - especially the home made rostis. They lost a star for asking if I would like some sauce, something I hadn't thought of, but then thought a good suggestion... so said yes please, but it never came. Not really a problem as I hadn't thought of it until it was suggested, but then was a bit disappointed when they didn't end up coming back.
Such a cute cottage cafe. Their menu looks great and surprisingly many vegetarian options! I will definitely be back to try their food as I reckon there’s a nice ambiance to it.
Would be 5 stars if they hadnt removed the Open beef souvlaki from the menu. It was perfect, had a bit of everything : beef, salad, yoghurt, lebanese bread & hot chips. Got told by staff member the vegan souvlaki is similar .??? What, veg & meat are different food groups.im happy to try mock meat as i do eat all veg meals but literally every other ingredient also not part of it. Tried some other delicious sounding option only to be average that i dont even remember whats it's called. Coffee is good, nice place to sit after a walk but unfortunately thats all i will be doing until the menu improves. Most of the staff are nice,a young male staff member who is very helpful& happy person, one girl with messy hair in particular looks at you like she'd rather be somewhere else than taking food orders.
The most delicious peppermint hot chocolate to keep you warm while supervising kids on the playground Highly rate the baby cinos and gingerbread cookies too!Food: 5/5
Had a lovely first time experience at the Curators Collective…food selection is amazing including Vegan options. Staff are friendly and the location is so lovely with a beautiful park surrounding the Cafe and the lake a stones throw away. Also dog friendly with a childrens playground just metres away. A must visit if you’re in for a relaxed stop off.
A lovely little drive to Curators Collective for breakfast was an amazing find. Savory Waffles, Maple Bacon Benny and a coffee was the greatest way to start the day. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. We will be back. And will bring the dogs next time too.
Very disappointed in the manner of the front of house staff. No personality at all I felt as though I was putting her out by ordering coffees. Not a welcoming smile or any effort in being pleasant to be customers.
Nice location, service at the counter was a little average and coffee was cold. They like packing early, took the sugar from our table while we were drinking our coffee.Atmosphere: 5/5
It’s a public holiday, I have to pay a surcharge. The cafe is closing at 3pm instead of its usual 4pm. It’s 1:50pm I’ve been told the cafe isn’t taking food orders due to the demand so I asked for a coffee. There is a 20minute wait for that. REALLY!!!!!! Hire more staff or reduce the table service and menu!!!! The world of customer service. NOT!!!
