First time eating here. Service was exceptional. Over & above 'pub' service. Quite busy on a Sat night. Food was delicious. Sadly had to leave some of the chicken special. The servings are generous. Good variety of foods. Even my vegan daughter could eat here. Good selection of wines too. Will happily come back here.

In and out within 45 minutes. Place was dark, dingy and lacked any personality. Other guests were asking to sit near the window for light. Service was over the top and continually interrupting the meal. Food was overcooked resulting in dry, bland flavourless meal. I had a schnitzel - seriously how do you get a schnitzel wrong? Other meals at the table were no better. Not to mention bar and regulars right next to kids in dining room - no seperation. Did I mention the dining room toilets stunk and were a sauna hot box. Overall lucky to get a star really.

We arrived early on a sunday evening for dinner for 3 and thought table service was a nice change. Whilst our food and service was fine (pizza was very average) as it got busier you could see the staff struggling to keep up. If you are going to provide table service you need to back it up with adequate staff levels and a manager leading on the floor ! Something that clearly wasn't happening.

This is my local pub the staff is friendly the people are great. And the food is good
