Choosing to train at CrossFit Effects has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The coaches are friendly, approachable, experienced and great at helping to correct movement. There is plenty of space to train, quality equipment and classes to choose from. The members are friendly, welcoming and super supportive. If you are thinking about giving CrossFit a go it is worth sticking your head in the door at CrossFit Effects and having a chat with Mick Shaw about what CrossFit is and what it can do for you.

Great trainers. Friendly groups. Heavy focus on proper technique. Large space to train that is very well equipped . Ask for a complimentary "Back Slap" if you feel like you need some motivation.

It's always a little intimidating walking into a new fitness place but the people at CrossFitFX couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. Mick and the crew have got a really well set up, 'poser-free' box that people of all levels and aims train at. I especially love the flexibility of classes and the supportive environment from both trainers and other members. This place is excellent. Simple as that.

I cannot speak highly enough of this box. Mick shaw is the coach. CrossFit FX is not just a box with kickass workouts that will seriously get you in the best shape of your life, A variety of age and fitness levels attend the classes, so there are never any feelings of embarrassment because of your ability or inability to do something. Everyone – members and coaches – is welcoming, motivating and laidback. The trainers are also extremely knowledgeable and very mindful of correct weight-lifting technique. They breakdown the movements into simple steps in order to develop proper form and avoid injury. Whether you are new to CrossFit or an experienced CrossFitter, you’d love this place and fit right in.
