I booked a 4 person/2 queen bed room via Qantas for Dec 3rd We arrived around 9pm and found the room only had 1 bed. I ask reception who told me I only book a 1 bed room. My confirmation email says 2 beds/4person and I made a note for 2 beds as the room configurations options were 1 or 2 beds. The reception person said they would put 2x single roll away beds into the room. We let him know we were heading to yhe shop so he'd have time to do it. I called while I was out as I re-checked my confirmation and he had also re-checked and could see I'd booked a 2bed room but they were fully booked so couldn't change my room. He then told me the couch pulled out into a bed and would have linen on it etc. We got back to the hotel 20mins later no bed pulled out, we pulled out the couch and it was a dirty mattress with no linen. Back to reception and they said no house keeping was on site so they wouldn't make up the bed for us. I told him we'd go out for 1hr and the beds better be ready when we return, it was after 10pm at this point. We returned after 11pm and 1 roll away bed had been placed in the room. The hotel is now refusing any sort of refund as we stayed the night, obviously we had no other options at 11pm for 4 people in December. I paid $520 for that, what a treat.
Great deal when booked with Jetstar hotel voucher. Checked in quite late and staff was very friendly and supportive. Room and linen quality was average, can’t complain for short stay.
The front reception and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The building itself needs a bit of TLC. There's a lot of rundown things going on. Note I was advised that the parking was 2.1 m. In fact it's 2 m. Good to know if you need to have the height.Rooms: 4/5
I extended my stay several times which proves how much I loved this hotel. The bed sooo comfortable, the facilities fantastic, the location ideal, the free parking convenient but most importantly of all, the service from ALL staff was simply outstanding! So very grateful, l miss the experience already.
Great powerful water pressure in the shower, comfy bed. No windows made it very enclosed, however this was a positive for a good nights sleep.
Room was ok. The furniture disposition was a little odd. What really bugged me is that the receptionist was cold as ice. Not even a “hi” when you enter for the first time. Couldn’t believe it. In the room, I literally had no view out of the window. There was a neighbour’s balcony right in front so you couldn’t even open the curtains! There was not enough light in the room obviously…
Even though my booking was cancelled by travel agent by error, the hotel was so gracious about it and sorted out for me. Stephanie at Reception went above and beyond to help me out and so did her manager. I'll be back once St Kilda Rd is fully open!Rooms: 5/5
When we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned there were stains on the countertops and food left behind. In addition to this dirty towels had been left in the bath tub and the sheets had not been changed. Luckily the hotel has 24 hour reception and we were told to wait until 9 or 10pm and our room would be cleaned, we left for a few hours and returned some sheets had been changed and there were fresh towels however the general cleanliness of the apartment had not been improved there were still various stains and a sanitary pad on the balcony. When we ordered the apartment we were told there would be 1 king bed and one queen bed inside, but one only had 2 singles.
