Not a very good school in my opinion. The kids in the class are out of control. I find that by the end of some lessons I have a headache. People also shout a lot in class and that is very disruptive for mine and probably many more students learning. There are some good aspects of the school like the homework support system homework club. This is only my experiences with this school. They have a lot of improving to do.
This school is utterly disappointing and distressing. The teachers are untrustworthy; they have consistently refused to acknowledge their mistakes and have been dishonest in their communications. For instance, they falsely accused me of admitting to drinking an alcoholic substance, despite my clear protests. Their story has changed multiple times, further undermining my confidence in their integrity.nThe issues don't end with the staff. The school environment is toxic, with both the staff and students exhibiting behavior that fosters a negative atmosphere. There is a significant imbalance in how students are treated; the boys in our class seem to have their voices heard and their issues addressed, while my concerns are dismissed without consideration.nAs a Year 7 student, I have seriously contemplated switching schools. I’m not alone in feeling this way—many others have already left this problematic environment. It’s clear that substantial changes are needed for this school to provide a supportive and fair environment for all its students.nnThe only good time I have here is with my friends and its almost always ruined by the short break times and teachers.nnWhen something bad happens to students or something the teachers are quick to silence us down. Telling us not to talk about the person or situation in school or on school platforms. It's terrible and they favourite certain kids. Do. Not. Come. Here.
As a newfound student fresh into year 7, i feel as its only right i have the entitlement to be able to rightfully make a judgement on my experience at Cranbourne Secondary College for any parent and/or student considering this school. I have mixed opinions for this school, and throughout my stay at this school i hope for a more positive experience throughout the years.nnMy experience at this school so far has been a bit problematic, but although good. by problematic i mean as in the students being problematic.. for an example, i have been threatened to get harmed at this school by a student, a certain student gets bullied for having a mental disability and kids often say racial slurs and use offensive language to other students and teachers which is very disappointing. Other students also tend to make fun of other kids emotional wellbeing and their mental health, as well as race as a “joke”. Something i have observed through my first 3 terms at this school is that my whole class is judgemental to other students and tend to be homophobic too and make fun of gay and transgendered people and express offensive opinions without no shame which is very disappointing. So far at this school ive had two problematic situations, and all the boys in my class have a vulgar mouth and express very inappropriate thoughts of girls and say many explicit and graphic things. Once this year, a boy was messaging me very vulgar topics, complementing me on my body and trying to force me into very specific acts and behaviours i did not meet an agreement to.. the students need to learn boundaries and equality within genders and identification more and its not often spoken about personally.nThe staff is okay and they have been able to sort out my problems i have had with these students that were bothering me. The school takes feedback accordingly and is willing to improve and cares deeply about students mental health and runs a wellbeing program at the school for any student struggling with anything at home or/and at school. The staff has been able to show me kindness and been very welcoming for my first year of year 7. So far, i have had no issues with the staff besides students’. However, i feel some teachers silence the students down they dislike and favourite the well behaved students they like instead of communicating fairly with all their students fair and square. The year 7 teachers and staff also hardly ever do anything about kids being bullied and just tell them to ignore their surroundings. I wish more actions could be taken as everyday students are bullied in my class and my class is always disrupted by the bullying, but no action is taken accordingly.nnLately, i have felt unsafe to attend school from a certain kid saying threats towards me behind my back for no actual good reason, but otherwise i find this school a very welcoming environment besides from the students and feel very settled in.nnI have mixed opinions on this school and i feel its just best to keep to myself sometimes while im at school, as you are often judged at times if you dont follow certain social media trends or aesthetics and stuff, or if you dont match peoples beauty standards, but the truth is no one will ever be good enough for anyone this society and students at this school show enough proof of this.
last few years at this school taught me age does not equal maturity, some of the teachers here set a bad example and genuinely have an attitude towards you even if you aren’t doing anything wrong. Some even scold you for not understanding a topic straight away. non constructive criticism doesn’t lead to improvement maybe help and explain like your job entails.nruins it for the rest of the teachers who are working hard and have amazing patience because they want the best for their students.nnand i’m smart enough to know that teachers can have bad days but do i use that as an excuse to mistreat people? there needs to be more accountability taken by teachers here
this school actually sucks. teachers are rude. no one does anything abt bullying, food is disgusting and NO ONE cares abt peoples mental health. if you speak up you just get sent to a hospital. people i know and including myself have been assaulted multiple times and the school has told us to forget about it because it wasnt on school grounds even tho it involved their students. overall 0/5
