Dr Michael Bell is knowledgeable, practical, caring and honest. Our family rely on him for the care of our 4 border collies. Our senior girl recently needed cruciate surgery. Michael knows her well as he manages her arthritis. She injured herself on Sunday, I phoned first thing Monday and Michael fitted her into his surgery list for that afternoon. She is now 3 weeks post surgery and doing well. She’ll be 14 in 2 days so a fast recovery was essential. We travel 45 minutes to Craigieburn. It is not local for us, but it is worth it for the exceptional care Michael and his team provide.
We took our Bella for surgery. Everything went well. Kudos to the clinic staff, vets who did the surgery and tooth extraction to our Bella and being helpful to my husband. Good service and very affordable, didn't ripped us off, sorry for my word but me, especially my husband is grateful to CAH and Vets and staff
Michael Bell is the worst and LAZIEST and money mongering vet ive been to. I went there for my cat who had a wound on his neck,nMichael barely with no effort tried to shave and then gave up within a minute. Told us to just do warm compress till it falls off which we told him we’ve been doing and it’s not working. And we paid extra $40 for antibiotics.nthe previous vets have all been successful with my cat in getting him the help he needs, whether it’s through control or sedation. Michael refused to do both. Now my cat is still sore and unwell without any improvements.nThe total cost was $140 for just antibiotics
I could not recommend Angie Wong enough. She was nothing short of amazing and supportive whilst my dog was unwell.nVery grateful to have such a wonderful vet looking after my dog.
I usually have an alright experience at this veterinary clinic, however, after my most recent appointment with Dr Gwen Huikeshoven, I’ve made the decision to not return to this clinic ever again.nThe vet seemed to be rushing the consultation for the sake of her break time even though I only arrived 2 minutes past my appointment time and we had to wait for the veterinarian either way. She decided to try and attempt to take my cats blood in the room for a wellness check, which due to my cats fearful personality, that I made very clear, caused the vet to take out the needle and re insert it multiple times until she finally decided it would of been better to have the procedure done at the back. Nothing was done for my cats anxiety apart from a steroid shot, I was told there was no medication to help my cat, no medication to ease travel anxiety either, and nothing can be done expect constant steroid shots for the rest of my pets life, even though we’ve been prescribed non sedative medications from other clinics in the the past. The only thing I came out with after my consult was a big bill and a cat more fearful than she was before we attended this consult.nThe 1 star is for nurse that tried comforting my pet.
