I purchased a set of HD "Heavy Duty" H Plus Son Archetype 32 spoke with Campagnolo Record Hubs from CRAFTWORX in October 2015 after weighing up a lot of wheel set options. These, I was told were the best "bomb proof" at around $1200. These were a fairly good rolling training wheel and I used them for some endurance events on harsh country roads. At just over 1600 grams, not bad for 32 spokes and super stiff. At the 25th month mark of use, 2 spokes broke away from wheel hub under a "Just riding along" situation. My Strava at the time of breakage shows 27kmh, no elevation , no decent. "JRA". The "bomb proof" wheels were disappointing! Disappointing, as I was riding in the Cadel Evens event that weekend and they were my wheels of choice for the ride and didn't have a back up set with me. I contacted Nathan on the Saturday and he advised to send them to the workshop to be assessed in Brisbane, ( at my expense) In the mean time I noticed that Campagnolo have a 3 year warranty on all parts, so the wheel hub was covered. Unfortunately my 2 year warranty on the JRA "Just Riding Along" was 1 1/2 months out, and I was quoted $350 + to have the wheel repaired. A bit stiff considering all spokes had to be replaced for the rebuild and the cost of Steves labor, etc. The inconvenience it caused and the imposition due to a fault of a part used in a Craftworx build is not always covered. BEWARE of the shop warranty and read the fine print. Maybe a shelf wheelset with a three year warranty is a better option. The Wheelset are home now, still not fixed. Tossing up to get them fixed , or just buy a set Campagnolo Shamals to train on, I know they last at least 5 years of hard riding because I've ridden them before. I might add, I have purchased a set of CRAFTWORX Ultima C50 @ $1535 for my race bike, so my dealings with Nathan and Steve continue. I'm riding these wheels now and an honest assessment will be on the way soon. I ride with a great bunch of people in Bayside Melbourne and unbeknown to Craftworx have directed a few sales their way from my riding group. As all the reviews on this site are 5 stars, I guess this won't get posted.

Unwheel builders - best around, down under. Sorry... But these guys can do amazing things with something so simple as the wheel. Road, MTB, or track, they'll hand-build something solid, light, and strong, quickly at reasonable cost. Peerless crash replacement policy, too.

Excellent wheels handbuilt in Brisbane. These guys are wheely good and offer fantastic service. The Ultima Carbon are a great wheel. Wish they were open on weekends as hard to get to Brendale during the week. Totally recommend getting into their store though.

Nathan and Stephen at Kraftwerk a very knowledgeable and helpful. My repair was completed overnight which was extremely efficient timing full stop
