I just arrived in Tasmania to live and needed a lot of items for the new house. I walked out of Myers today extremely impressed with the professionalism and helpful service of their Staff. To the ladies in the dinner set area thank you for helping us with our many questions and ensuring all our household purchases were efficiently moved to the pickup area. It was so easy and quick and an excellent 40% sale was on. In an age where service is waning, this was a positive shopping experience .
Been to Myers twice in last month. They have very good bargains on sale. The % off different items is great. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Myers now caters for people on low wages.. this is a bonus for pensioners. 5
I love Myer, always have. Has been the best all round place to get quality clothes for a good price for a long time. They have the best sales too. Unfortunately though in the age of internet shopping this has forced Myer to go a bit cheaper in quality on their goods to compete & survive. I have noticed this especially in the last 10 years. I hope they don't go too cheap in quality as it doesn't last. You get what you pay for.
I’m from Sydney and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being served by the lovely Kylie from Myer Launceston over the phone for a particular dress I was after that was no longer available from Review on-line. I’d looked everywhere for it. Kylie was amazing and took down mine and the dress’ details over the phone and asked if it was a sale item etc. to get a general idea of where it may be. Not long after, I received a call back from Kylie that she had searched and found the dress! I was so impressed and so grateful to her as I had mentioned to her how I really wanted this particular dress and like a kid at Christmas searched everywhere for it. Kylie had mentioned it may be upstairs on another level and she would search and call me back. Kylie went out of her way to find it for me and rang me back that she had! I was so excited and she said that she couldn’t leave me to wait until the next day or so to find out. How amazing and kind and thoughtful is that?! Kylie found the dress, I made the payment over the phone, it was packed, posted and delivered within days. I cannot thank Kylie enough for her truly amazing customer care and service and thank you to Myer Launceston for the above and beyond service from their staff. Kylie is a credit to Myer and I am truly grateful to her for looking after me and for finding my dress. Myer Launceston has indeed set an incredibly high bar for customer care and service. Thank you Myer Launceston and thank you so much Kylie! xo. :
I went to Myers in Launceston and the staff were very unprofessional. A sales person come into my dressing room and assumed the size of the dress I was trying on, which was a bigger size then I had on. It kind of sounds funny but It really didn’t feel very good. Then she said if I wanted to try more dresses on I should go to the other dressing room which I guess is not the one she is managing…ok then…I guess she was pushing work onto her colleagues.. so I had three items to buy. One didn’t have a price tag, she looked for the price couldn’t find it ..after about 30minutes, which felt like hours of her running around the store she told me I couldn’t buy it as it didn’t have a price…what the hell… that’s never happened to me before. She then proceeded to bag up my two items, got the prices incorrect, which I had to inform her of as she didn’t check the price tags and was so slow it was irritating. She was like a snail in fairy land. Then I go downstairs to buy perfume and was yelled at by a staff member screaming ‘Oi you can’t go behind there’ …I was told I could not look at the perfume and that I had to have a staff member assist me. That was so weird. I Obviously I left feeling very confused as I’m not use to Myer having such poor service.
We are here on holidays and were searching for an item in the catalogue. When the very lovely staff weren't able to find what we wanted, the store manager assisted us. His outstanding customer service was greatly appreciated and his staff are a credit to the company.
Didn't expect the great discount on my swimming costume, 30% pretty good. Managed to find the perfect gift for my great great niece, a lovely butterfly shaped shoulder bag. Happy Happy happy
I purchased bath linen at Myer at twice the price of a cheaper store. The Myer brand towels frayed and disintegrated immediately. The towels from Kmart are thicker and better quality than I could imagine. I use them constantly and will never purchase from Myer again. Don’t expect any help from either store, just be aware that Myer is not a top end store. Customer service is gone all round, if you need help, go elsewhere. Best advice? Go elsewhere.
Shopping here was just tooooo good a deal 'coz of the markdowns & further reduction on the already mark down prices. Staff was friendly & courteous. We wanted to shop sooooo much more but had luggage restrictions for our flight.
Dear Myer, Having worked at Myer Chadstone I am safe to say that it is time you spent some money upgrading this tired & old little Myer store. The carpets are filthy, the presentation of the store is not up to standard for the brand and often stock is missing from the floor. There is no David Jones to compete with, so it is time to upgrade a much needed shopping resource for the area. Yours sincerely, Former Myer Employee from Melbourne.
