Woolworths Lynfield, located in the heart of the Lynfield community, offers a convenient and dependable shopping experience for locals seeking everyday groceries and essentials. The store operates daily with flexible hours, accommodating both early shoppers and those who prefer to visit later in the day. Although not as large as some flagship Woolworths stores, Woolworths Lynfield is clean, well organised, and easy to navigate, with clearly marked sections for fresh produce, meat, bakery items, frozen foods, and pantry staples. This layout allows shoppers to find what they need quickly, whether they are doing a quick top-up or a full weekly shop.nnThe product range at Woolworths Lynfield covers a wide variety of essentials, with a good focus on fresh and quality items. Many customers appreciate the consistent availability of staples and fresh produce, which is essential for those who rely on the store for their daily and weekly grocery needs. The store also caters to the diverse Lynfield community by stocking a selection of international and multicultural products alongside standard grocery items.nnCustomer service at Woolworths Lynfield is often praised, with staff known for being friendly, approachable, and willing to assist shoppers with any queries. This helpful attitude creates a welcoming shopping environment. The store can get busy during peak hours, especially in the late afternoon and early evening, which sometimes results in longer wait times at the checkout. Despite this, the overall shopping experience remains positive due to the attentive service and efficient store layout.nnWhile the store’s size means it may not carry the full range of products found in larger Woolworths locations, it balances this with convenience, quality, and service. Parking is generally adequate, and the store is accessible by public transport, making it easy for a wide range of shoppers to visit. Overall, Woolworths Lynfield is a trusted and community-focused supermarket that meets the everyday grocery needs of the local area with a good mix of quality products, friendly service, and convenient hours.
The place where I live is called Lynfield. In Lynfield, this Woolworth shop is definitely my go-to grocery store. Whenever I need to buy fresh produce or other stuff for cooking and also snacks, I always head to this supermarket. It's big, tidy and clean. Shopping in here is always a comfort. I love this shop.nToday I bought Kumara, it was on sale. They were all in good quality.
There is a woman who is a checkout manager. Short, Caucasian with long hair and a fringe.nShe is always so rude to everyone.nMy recent experience was that she was purposely ignoring me when I was trying to get her attention at the self check out.nEvery other time I’ve been in she is always rude to everyone.nEveryone I have ever spoken to about this woman says the same thing about her too.nAll the other staff are so welcoming. Not her
I visited the Woolworths Lynfield store today and had a very disappointing interaction with a staff member named Hansa. Her behaviour was unprofessional, unfriendly, and unnecessarily rude throughout the interaction.nnAs a customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect, but her tone and attitude made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. This is not reflective of the standard of customer service that Woolworths is known for.nnBased on my experience, Hansa does not appear suited to a frontline customer-facing role. I believe this matter should be reviewed seriously, as interactions like this negatively impact the customer experience and the store’s reputation.nnI hope appropriate steps are taken to ensure other customers do not face similar treatment in the future.
I had a deeply upsetting experience at the Woolworths Lynfield store involving a staff member named Hansa. Based on her name, I assumed she was of Gujarati background and greeted her in Gujarati — a gesture of cultural connection and respect. To my shock, she responded with outright hostility and rudeness.nHer reaction wasn’t just unprofessional — it came across as blatantly prejudiced. I felt singled out, disrespected, and looked down upon simply for speaking in my native language. In a country that prides itself on diversity and inclusion, this kind of behaviour is absolutely disgraceful.nNo customer should ever be made to feel ashamed or unwelcome because of their language or background. Woolworths needs to seriously evaluate how staff like Hansa are representing their brand. If this is the kind of customer service you condone, it reflects very poorly on your values as a company.nI hope this matter is addressed seriously — because racism and disrespect have no place in your stores, or anywhere.
