This store is bigger in size as compared to other Countdown stores in the vicinity. Good for quick visits. Self-checkout kiosks are available. Spacious parking area. Typically laid out for a Countdown , just as typically the fresh meat is in small packs priced at the top end. Unless you want chicken go to a butcher. Deli is good as is the bakery. Hard to find decent lettuce but the rest of the fruit and veg is okay.

This can be a fraudulent conduct in this countdown. I went to Countdown Lynfield tonight. After 20 minutes shopping came to check out. The staff on check out desk looks superexcitation, she is short grey hair and KEPT TALKED to the previous customer when PUTTING my shopping item through the scanner. And I HAVE TO ASK FOR THE recipe after this.Luckily I have asked for the recipe when I double check those time I BOUGH AND ALREADY PAID, FOUND OUT THERE THREE ITEM ARE MISSING!!! I no even exit the door from countdown yet, so I come back to the counter, now AMY joins us, Amy shows her impatience and poor understanding of this service issue.I help them to understand there THREE ITEM HAVE BEEN CHARGED FROM ME SHOPPING BUT THERE ARE MISSING. Finally, AMY have the solution for me: GO GAIN this ITEM BY YOURSELVES! Without any service manner, no even add a PLEASE. I refuse because I have stress time, AMY starts yelling at me and ask me to talk to the manager. SO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR OTHER 7 MINUTES until one supervisor come to helping me for ending this terrible experience. Overall, bad service of the checkout staff, no concentrate and respect for the customer, no giving the recipe and missed the item charged from the customer. This may be a fraudulent conduct which breaking the consumer rights. AMY was acting like she is in the zoo, she should not in there with her inurbane.

Products are usually good but I often find expired products on shelve. I strongly recommend buyers to check the date before you decide to buy. My current post has one photo which shows expired date.
