Nice store. I went to a bunch of Countdowns in NZ. Right next to an excellent weekend night market.

They changed the closing time to 9 PM without giving me a heads up, and get this - their phone line and Google still show 10 PM. On top of that, they're blocking me from coming in starting at 8:50 PM? Seriously?

Tonight, a male? Staff member just denied my girlfriend from purchasing alchohol due to suspicion of supplying minors. Completely embarrassed her infront of customers and other workers based on a hunch. This person completely embarrassed her as he caused an unnecessary scene. Extremely disrespectful and Poor customer service. Just went next door anyways they deserve the profits.

Great place to shop, staff are lovely.nnIt was a shame to see only one checkout open today. There was such a long queue forming behind me i.e. 6 people. Daniel the gentleman on checkout was doing an amazing job at trying to get through the huge line. Surely there should be at least a minimum of 2 check-outs open? Frustrating for those waiting and not fair to the hard working staff!
