We always come here. Been a face for years. I have noticed lately however the cleaning doesn't happen. Chairs are sticky, floors never look vacuumed or mopped. But food it delicious.
Needed to stop somewhere where we could actually hear each other speak. Air con and fans were very popular the day we visited. We'll definitely be back again.Food: 4/5
The quality of the food is not to bad as for the quantity can be abit pricey for what it is...i bought a grilled chicken as a side dish, and it cost $10 for half of a small chicken breast which made the small saucer plate it came on, look like a dinner plate, the young man is friendly but the older guy never smiles or approachable but if that doesnt bother you than i guess its an ok place to catch up for coffee with friends or while waiting for your clothes as theres 2 laundromats next door
Breakfast meals are good value & portions are great! Great hangover food. The service is great. Love their coffees! I always order large soy hazelnut cappuccino. Tastes great in my opinion
We came to nearby work shop in the early morning, so we decided to seek a coffee shop for breakfast. However, I was so disappointed that this place was not at all good! Unfriendly staff! When we walked in, we found spare table by ourselves but no one came or informed us that we had to order at the counter. We ordered cosmo breakfast $17 & salmon with egg $13. TBH, breakfast was the worst I have ever had+0 customer service. I have no idea why they still charged so much.

Found our way here for Sunday breakfast. Excellent service and our Eggs with Hollandaise sauce and Steak with all the trimmings like chips, eggs and salad were on our table within 15 minutes. Nice work Team Cosmo Cafe!!
It is quite an amazing establishment to go for a morning coffee and where I use to go for afternoon smoko with my Renaissance Disability Group Support Worker back in 2008, 2009 and 2010, as I know that place quite well as it's been in business for over 15 years and I pretty well actually love it and I use to go there quite a lot as I know that it's by far one of the best cafes in South Auckland I've ever been to and I rate it to be quite an amazing place.
Cosmo Cafe is a place to go for a weekend brunch, Good selection of dishes to choose from,prices a not to bad ,depending on what you order,Coffee is Great,Food: 5/5
Great little cafe that’s quite popular and decently priced : have a full all day breakfast menu as well as hot food available
