On my last visit the doctor I saw had absolutely no empathy. I only went in for a prescription, but had a bit of a meltdown after a issues with work, and he laughed all the way through the visit. The good doctors have huge waiting lists for a reason. Certainly won't be seeing that idiot again. Should be a minimum standard of English, too. How the older people deal with the accents, I have no idea. Dangerous when medications are concerned. I could only understand half of what was said.
I have been going to this clinic for nearly 10 years and I am extremely disappointed . I tried seeing different doctors but they're all pretty much the same. No empathy and not willing to help with my health problems.
Its so useless sometimes. Many times have i not understood ethnics there and still dont know, i requested a scan several times but they couldnt give me the results and mumbled its too late. I will never use there facility outside of an emergency even if i was to die. Haven't been to a doctor for 2-3 years thanks to this. also i accidentally missed 1 appointment as sometimes im too busy with other issues let alone how little time i get to organize a visit about my forever growing health issues being around 1 hours drive away from the nearest facility aswell, anyway i missed 1 appoinment and the next time i went there i was rudely told that if i miss anymore i would be unable to make any future appointments, what kind of care is this for the people, the customers of australia to be put threw when health is life. cruelty was this joke.
Seriously, 50 minute wait time for a 2 minute appointment. Note on the desk asks you to let them know when you have been waiting for over 30 minutes. Completely pointless as they just tell you the doctor is running late.
I've had some issues in the past, mainly with immigrant registrars, but they have since moved on, and although it took me a while, i have found the right doctor's for me that i feel comfortable seeing.
