Went in today and the customer service was terrible. Basically empty store but no greeting or help offered only growled at by the guy there when we proceeded to try on dresses limited to 4 . We did end up buying a dress from there, but honestly if we had found that design in any other shop we wouldn't have.
Not from Adelade however the service was excellent. I went to get a formal dress last year and the service was amazing. I know this is a long time but I finally remembered to write a review. I ended up buying a dress that was too small in the end days before formal I tried it on and it didn't fit and so my grandmother had to give a call. A man replied on the phone and he offered to give me a new dress, but same size. He had a replacement dress in mail and arrived overnight, big shout out to him! The staff are patient and kind.
absolute horrible service the guy was rude from the moment I walked in ignoring my question I was then told that I was only allowed to try 2 dresses on even though the first 2 didn't fit me due to the sizing difference I had 2 friends with me looking for brides maid dresses for a separate event and was rude to them as well commenting on there body shape and say they were to big for the dresses he then asked me If I really though that i should be wearing one of there expensive designer dress and that it was a waste of money and a dress for me would never recommend and with the other comments I have read and as I would its assume its the same guy needs to find a new job as this just isn't suited to him EXTREMLY RUDE!!!
I would give 0 stars if I could, TERRIBLE customer service! Went in and tried on bridesmaid dresses for a wedding coming up and the staff members were disgustingly rude! Telling all girls who were in to try on dresses that we needed to take off our jewellery, make up and EVEN deodorant to ensure we didn’t damage the dresses which we definitely wouldn’t have. Telling girls they definitely weren’t the sizes they were picking up and then persisting to tell us we wasted their time and had no right to be using their company as a ‘guinea pig’ to get correct sizing even though intentions were to purchase from them. Lost $3000+ worth of sales due to this disgusting behaviour. Will not be recommending or attending this shop again.
The customer service was horrible, I completely understand the no photos rule, but only being able to try on 5 dresses!? I was not sure of my size and had to try on 3 dresses in one style, once finding a size that fit well I tried on 2 more dresses and was told I had reached my limit and had to leave. I do not understand how a business expects sales when they are only letting people try on a limited amount. The dressing rooms are also very small and they stock a limited range of dresses most are different colors of same style. If you are shopping for a dress for formal I strongly suggest that you give copycat a miss and try somewhere like After Dark or even myers as they have a very large range and extremely helpful employees.
I recently went to copycat to find a specific outfit for a special birthday. I was given exceptional customer service by a lovely lady named Lita. She was really helpful, polite, couldn't do enough to make my experience enjoyable. She didn't do the hard sales that you experience in some retail outlets. Instead she helped when I needed it and gave me her opinion when asked. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a formal outfit go see copycat. You won't be disappointed.
the customer service was appalling, we did not receive any help the entire time. and when we did, the man starting arguing with us about sizes, when we clarified that we could try it on even if it was one size too big to see if we liked it. he also proceeded to snatch dresses from us when we wanted to try them on, and he was overall very rude. he made us feel very upset, and we left very soon.
Appalling service!! No photos so none of my bridal party can see dresses from other states, only 4 dresses allowed to be tried on. Rude and abrupt behaviour from the male service staff. Never again
I have been to this shop for a while and everytime just checking and trying new styles. The female assistant there very helpful. She is very polite and listened to what I wanted. She took the time to help me out and let me try on lot of dresses. I ended up buying one I really like. I was so happy finally found amazing dress to wear on my birthday! Overall, I had a wonderful experience, thanks to Lita. I would come back to get my formal dress next year. Thanks again!
Absolutely brilliant service, and great range. I get really stressed buying evening and formal wear as I hardly ever wear such dresses but need to get them for work events from time to time and its been years since I refreshed. I rushed in with half an hour to spare, anxious, already stressed as dress shopping is daunting for me, and didn’t know where to start. The lovely assistant was extremely helpful and I bought not one but two dresses for different occasions because her advice was very on point and I felt very comfortable. Thank you!
