Friendly staff. They were very helpful
Never been so humiliated, infuriated when I approached the teller to deposit a overseas chq which I have full authority to do on behalf of my husband and bank has copy of signed authority. I have been banking these Chqs for my husband for 2.5 yrs since his medical condition deteriorated and cannot leave the house. Today CBA Devonport Branch would not allow me to deposit the chq for my husband, he had to be present it’s called PROTOCOL, letter of authority on their computer was insufficient, required a copy of ‘power of Attorney ‘ - hence I left with a mouthful of abuse. I will deposit chq at a friendly LTon branch. Devonport branch-you haven’t heard the end of this- this is the treatment you get after a combination of 130yrs loyal customer-we will see about that.
Where do I start I get a personal loan then I Go to top it up I go in to the bank it gets declined so I ring and talked to them It gets approved then I have to send documents in to bank I do that then I wait 3 weeks for a reply and still no reply then I ring them I am On the phone for 3 and a 1/2 hours on hold still no reply get though to them today and thay was meant to get back to me and didn’t at all so I could be waiting for over a month just to see if it’s been approved I been a customer for 16 years at this bank thay are very unprofessional with there customers it should only take a few days for them to reply but it’s taken a month I am going to switch banks after this I ring them today the lady said thay get back to me today and didn’t after being on hold for a hour and 45min I never ever been so angry over the way this bank treats there customers that have been there for years I definitely wouldn’t recommend this bank thay muck you around why to much for something that should take 2 days the most not a Month it’s a disgrace unprofessional at its best and I do it on line the first time got approved straight away go to the bank decided every time then ring the bank in Melbourne and there trying to fix thing but ain’t much better because thay couldn’t even ring back today it’s a bloody joke
Poor costumer service.
