The service here is extremely disappointing. I arrived at the bank at 3:38. I waited in line for 7 minutes and was being served by a team member only to have a lady rudely yell from across the room “were at capacity no more”. This is not the first time I’ve had this level of service at this bank.
Misleading information about opening hours on 31th Dec 2022. On Google it says open till 2:00pm but it’s actually closed. Branch should update their Google info accordingly.
This is my first negative Google review ever. I am not a fussy guy but what a disaster for me in CBA Glen Waverley this morning. I went into the bank lobby about 10:40am and talked to the lobby manager, a young Asian gentleman, that I am here to open two business accounts without booking. He asked me if I have any personal information registered in CBA, I said yes I am a CBA loyal customer I have other personal and business accounts in CBA Glen Waverley branch. And then he asked me to wait in the lobby because everybody was busy. After about 20-30 minutes waiting I found I was almost the only client waiting there but he didn't say a word to me during that time. Then I walked to him and asked him please let me know how long I had to wait. He said he was not sure. And then he took a look at the documents in my hand again and told me definitely I couldn’t make this business today because I didn’t make a booking in advance. I was so frustrated!!! He should have told me earlier as I told him I was here to set up new business accounts and showed him the documents the first time I came in and talked to him. Fortunately Ms Ling Cao was there with him and she invited me to her office and told me that I could easily open new business accounts online as a loyal CBA client. She is kind, professional and helpful. Solve all my problems just less than 10 minutes and gave me her business card. Very much appreciate Ms Ling Cao. The Lobby Manager didn’t even say sorry to me until I left. That’s so rude. I was like a fool waiting there unattended for 30 minutes and then being told I couldn’t do nothing but left. What a disaster! What a Lobby Manager!
Quite a long wait only to deal with a rude staff member, who seemed more concerned that I stood 2 metres away from him at all times, with no attempt at politeness or any effort to help solve my simple problem. Waste of time. Honestly who are these staff members without a rudiment of courtesy? Where are they recruited from and how are they trained and assessed for adequate customer service by the branch?
They were very helpful during the process. Sally Zheng was excellent. She was taking care of everything from the bank's side and made it so easy for us. Everything was so quick and clear, great communication. I should also mention Nilesh Ramani who used to work at the bank and helped us at the beginning since we originally contacted Nilesh through a recommendation. We highly recommend this branch.
Terrible service, staff unaware of how timing works with front of staff member letting you know its going to take 20-25 minutes. 35 minutes later , inquiring with the staff you get told it could be another 10-15 minutes. Educate your staff on how timing works and how to inform customers how long the wait is
Not sure why they have a phoneline, never pick up the phone.
Went there in the morning to open an account for dad. Peggy greeted us and with less knowledge about overseas visitors documents she needs to out and forth to find out. While waiting for my sil to send documents through email, she was texting on her phone dont even gave a chat with us to feel welcome. Waited impatiently and have to ask us to leave because of customer’s waiting end out we didn’t open an account. Dad insisted to open an account then we went back in the afternoon with all the documents but very busy in the afternoon. Ended out we have to get an English speaking gentleman for my dad. Fortunately Ryan, he heard we chat in hokkien and he is happily to speak to us in hokkien too. Dad was delighted to find someone so friendly and helpful to talk too. With his expertise in every question we’d ask we would like to thank him for his assistance Thanks Ryanyou did a great job to let customer feel save and trust with the bank
wanted to talk about my home loan rate with CBA as other banks were offering better rates. the customer service rep said "if you want to switch it's up to you"..... so I did. she had no shame, because then she wanted to sell me insurance. then the calls from their retention team. probably the biggest bank in AU, but clearly not for the right reasons!
