Zero stars! This bank is useless, avoid if you can. My teenage son is trying to access his savings account that he's had since he was 6 now that he has a job. They cut off his NetBank access and we were advised that since he had turned 14 he has to go into branch with ID. We did that, went into the Castletown branch in Townsville, waited almost 2 hours to be served to get it sorted. Got home, could log in but account missing. Several phone calls and almost 3 months later, attempted to call again to sort it out today and was told there is no record of his ID being sighted or signing paperwork to be able to transact from this account, yet they have a record of him going into the branch that day. So we have to go in yet again so they can incompetently attempt at resolving this mess. Absolutely hopeless, he's since opened an account with NAB and as soon as he has access to his money that he has every right to, we'll be closing this account. They are withholding his savings and sending us in circles.
They don't even treat you like a number cause they actually care about numbers. Record breaking profits every year but can't afford to customers with dignity.
I can't give 0 stars but that's what they'd get from me. They closed my local branch so I went further to another only to be stopped at the door n told I would need an appointment but they have 'none left today'. Tried to ring for an appointment but noone answers phones.
The branch manager called me a dog inside the bank cause I needed assistance with a credit card we off too court now
Shoddy service. Seems to be the norm They will NOT answer their. Phone. Cannot find a fax number anywhere on their web site. Small Wonder they're up in front of a royal commission.
Very friendly staff, I love going there, but no one seems to answer the phone...
Suddenly these guys don't cash international cheques. I thought this was a bank? Apparently they are no longer "set up" for that kind of thing. What a joke.
Deposit ATM is always out of service. Always !
Went in to open a joint account, told too late in the day come back tomorrow, went back the following day, told I need to book ahead.
Excellent banking service with a smile.
