I visited Commonwealth Bank yesterday wanting to drop off a document after opening up an account. While I was waiting. I get a smart remark from a lady short curly hair with glasses [which in my opinion felt like an interrogation], "What are you doing here", "You have to wait until 3:45PM" 45 minute - 1 hour wait, "There are few other clients in front of you", "I can't push others to accommodate you". I do not know why she said the last line. I was just making a statement just letting her know what I was doing [just dropping off a file]. I did not want to be pushed ahead of in line. I detest how she assumed what I wanted. I understand they were short staffed, but it came across as rude and passive aggressive. I do not appreciate such negativity. Even if I am in the same situation, serving customers, I will never be this rude. The front desk before the curly haired lady initially stated 15 minute wait. But the employee that passive aggressively treated me contradicted her statement by stating 45 minutes. I also do not appreciate inconsistency.  It was fine, I went to the Claremont Branch who gave me an exceptional service.  I must admit, it is a poor start. I hope the Mastercard has a better feature than the customer service.

Terrible service. Avoid going into a branch as much as possible as never a good experience. Today was no better. Had to do an ID check - lined up for 30 minutes. My turn, can’t do ID check just now as we need to get the line down. Can you please wait in another queue as we need to serve people doing cash deposits. Those people can use the deposit machines. I have no choice other than to see a person. I know people skills are no longer in your line of expertise but come on.

We have very good experience with this branch. The branch manager, Vivian,  is highly efficient and observant. Theres also a very friendly staff Isabella who assisted us to open the bank accounts. She explained very well and made sure we understand the features, terms and conditions of the products. Thank you.

I had a very believable scam call today saying they were from commbank. I went in to the Subiaco Branch to help with further investigation. The staff were extremely helpful, patient and genuinely cared. I’m all safe as I didn’t give out any personal details. Special thanks to Abbie from the Subiaco Branch. Thanks again

They can’t make it any harder for you to prove your identity. Maybe try a better branch if you need to do this.  Edited this review because although the teller was sub par, my customer service support person Michelle was 5/5. She was helpful and very nice.

Staff were super helpful when a situation happened. Only with their utmost professional assistance did we get thru it. We love Michelle! We have been with the Subiaco branch for ages and are so glad it's there for  interaction with humans for important business. It's proven to be essential to have this face-to-face contact

Why don't these atms stock $20 notes.  The adjoining machine which exchanges for smaller notes is more often not working than working. So inefficient and frustrating.  Surely CBA can do better than this.

Waited 45 minutes for chat with Lady, and got reply busy with work. Other lady said u need appointments for talk...what a rubbish place this is...I don't know how subi commonwealth got that much negative reviews...need more attention on customer service

Very late for appointment not impressed very poor customer service. Maybe get more staff
