I'm a semi regular at this bar. There is one girl there, Gwen. She is the rudest bar girl there is. All the other ones are lovely. I don't know what her problem is, but she totally ignores us, and has all these stupid rules that none of the other girls have. She is nice to the everyday barflies, but treats us like we spat on her mum. Give Gwen the flick and we will become regulars.

Best beer and friendliest staff in the Gull. I love the place. Wouldn't drink anywhere else. Don't listen to Matt, Gwen is a lovely person and always friendly.

Come here on a Friday during the buy 1 get 1 free bistro meals. My sister and I both got the surf & turf only to be both dissappinted. My steak was meant to be medium but was cooked well done. The Surf and turf was meant to be topped with a "creamy garlic prawns, mussels and scallop sauce". The sauce was non existent and my steak was soaked in steak juice (meant to be the "creamy garlic") with seafood on top. I asked the waitress politiely if we could please get some more garlic sauce because there was next to none on our steak, and she said she would ask the kitchen and let us know. She then returned to our table, bluntly said "no, you can't" and tried to walk away. I said excuse me because I thought I had misheard her. She turned her head as she was walking back into the kitchen and said I was told to say "no" you can't have anymore and she walked away. She never offered us to be allowed to get more sauce and pay for it, which I would have done if the kitchen staff hadn't been so rude. The waitress needs more training on how to manage complaints properly. What happened to good quality customer service? Won't be returning here.
