Not too bad for tourist like me. Able to get most of the stuff. Do take note of the expiry date as items on offer usually last less than 6 months in most supermarket.
Coles World Square is conveniently open until midnight. There are many items available, but T2 tea bags are swept off the shelves due to a special promotion.
Failed to display the sign that 'Bonds Items ain't refundable' but kept the sign behind the front counter & refused to refund the Bonds items I purchased 2 days ago. Spoke to the staff- lady with mask & accent behind the front desk at 9:30pm on Friday 5 July 24. She's very rude, uneducated, zero customer service & zero communication/problem solving skills. I had to ask for the store manager but that front desk lady kept interrupting me while I was talking to the manager. By fair trading consumer laws, Coles should have display the sign that says Bonds items ain't refundable. But they didn't, it's not right/legal to refuse refund. Taking it further to fair trading
Extremely disappointed with some of the staff at Coles World Square.nnI mean, I get it, working in retail is tough… but seriously, guys? When I politely ask if an item is in stock, the response is basically, “Well, if it’s not there, then we don’t have it.” Wow, thanks for that enlightening info. Who knew that if something’s not on the shelf, it’s probably not available? Without even checking or making an effort? I’m not begging here, I genuinely couldn’t see the product, and sometimes things aren’t on display but are still in stock. It wouldn’t kill you to double-check.nnAnd no, not all staff were like this—some were actually helpful, and I’m genuinely grateful for them—but the rude, couldn’t-care-less attitude from a few others is just something else. I understand that maybe it’s not your department or section, but does it hurt to lend a hand when a customer’s having trouble? Do you guys come to work or just to collect a paycheck and do the bare minimum?nnHonestly, the way some of you act, it’s like helping a customer is a personal insult. Hope HR takes a closer look at who they’re hiring because this kind of behavior leaves a bad impression.
TERRIBLE SECURITY STAFF! I am tired of the ignorance and arrogance - if not stupidity of the security guy who keeps insisting that my Assistance Dog has to wear a vest She doesn't!nIt's almost enough to make me want to stop shopping there - despite the convenience and terrific staff #ShameOnSecurity
