Coles local South Melbourne is a great spot to do your weekly shop. The range of products is great and they have a great variety on offer especially with their fancy cheese wheel. The staff are always friendly and kind and there to provide for the local community. I usually do my shop online and every time I pick it up it’s always super quick and I get everything i order. I tend to see customers not treating the staff very nicely or have no manners towards the staff which is a bit of a shame that grown adults treat others like that. In conclusion I think this is the best place to shop beats woolies any day.
Great spot. 13 Ailes. Nice looking store. Parking area.nNational outage affecting the checkouts today. Not enough front-end staff to cope with the issue. Bad distribution of resources. Imagine rolling out an update with a bug in it just before the busiest time of year. Incomprehensible nMilk at the back where else.
I don’t usually have any human moments of kindness or connection at this store.nnBut I was served by a fantastic customer service team member that made me feel a sense of community for the first time in years at my local Coles. She was young and had brown hair, worn in a pony tail. The simple “how was your day” and “how is the weather treating you” made me feel recognised and respected.nnI hope to see more team members adopt the friendliness she possessed!nnVisited the store Sunday 12:45

Unfortunately I have had to stop shopping here, this place is really that bad. Over the last 6 months I have had over a dozen meat items turn off before I could eat them, which have all gone bad well before their due date. I have never had this happen at any other Coles, whoever is in charge of the meat unit at this place needs to be fired immediately and replaced!
