It is one bad experience to shopping in this place today. The Randwick Coles unit now charges customer for using a trolley. I am fine with this policy. The problem is that it is rare in nowadays situation that people carry cash money or even coin, while the only way to use the trolley is by putting the coin in the little machine in the trolley bay. So I decided to shop using the plastic shopping basket that Coles provided.nnUpon checkout, I told to one of the team member :nnMe : can you please tell to your supervisor to give an option to pay by card in using trolley? I am willing to pay to use the trolley.nnA really simple and direct request that perhaps only require answer yes or no. But, the Team Member chose to take my feedback in a different way. He's offended and become agitated.nnTeam Member: well a lot of customers abuse the using of the trolley. So that's why we have to charge.nMe: yes, I know and I am willing to pay for that. Although I never abuse it. But can you just tell to your supervisor that no one nowadays carry notes or coin handy?nTeam Member: You can go to the service desk and buying a token. Or you can take cash out to pay for the trolley.nnI am absolutely in disbelieve of his attitude instead of just saying yes or no but chose to patronise and heating up my simple feedback.nnMe : Okay, but can you please tell to your supervisor about nowadays situation that people don't take any cash or coins to pay for trolley? Perhaps we can just scan the credit card upon the checkout?nnI was repeating my feedback.nnThe Team Member : no. They will not listen to me.nnHis attitude and answer just an indication that there is shimmering problem in this shopping unit. I chose not to continue the argument.nnOnly that I am not going to do shopping in this unit anymore and I will not recommend people to do so.
Always a great experience at this Coles, thanks especially to Christopher. He's consistently friendly, helpful, and knows the products really well. Whether it’s finding an item or recommending alternatives, he’s always spot on. Great customer service, thank you Christopher.
On May 4, 2024, our younger son and his girlfriend to my wife and me here. They knew that we would like to buy some treats for our pet in Hong Kong. With the many varieties, we bought to our hearts’ content.
Coles randwick need to get the cleaners in.nnMould in the chiller where they stock the smoked salmon and sliced hams, etc.
Anything that's nice , they get rid of ,nNo more pork piesnNo more rare roast beefnlots missing in the fresh cakes . I dunno wtf is going on with this coles .
