I am a frequent customer of Cole’s Lava street and am absolutely appalled at the behaviour of some staff on numerous occasions. We’ll start with tonight. I was checking out at the self serve when I witnessed a young staff member being belittled by an older female staff member. The poor girl was crying and clearly upset - if this is how you allow your staff to treat others then you’re going to lose customers.nOn other occasions, I have brought clients in and whilst staff are serving them, they refuse to talk to or acknowledge my clients. This is appalling, and disgusting behaviour. Not only are my clients humans, they are functioning and capable of responding to your questions, paying for their own items, and being handed their change. It is ableist behaviour and will not be accepted. The above mentioned older staff member is guilty of this, and consistently rude towards people with disabilities.nIf I continue to witness any of this behaviour I will no longer be shopping at your store.
Rude customer service at self service , this lady acts like as if she is in some special force job!! Interfering as soon as I am at self service telling what to scan first rudely !!! Come on hold on lady I didn’t even asked you for help !!! I know how to scan items and what to scan first !!! This is not for the first time in this store , I have experienced same few times. I normally let it go as we regularly visit this store , but this isn’t cool lady. You better be nice to customers and have a SMILE on your face !!! Hope I don’t see this pathetic service next time - happened on Friday evening 14/03/2025 at 5:30pm.

Best range of prepared foods in town. Sandwiches, salads, meal packs, single serve fruits, cakes, biscuits.... but I did prefer when they were open till 10pm.
Bought pack of chicken kebabs on Saturday. Worst l have ever had. Fat and grissle couldn't eat them into the bin.Never again lift your game coles
