To Coles Customer Relations Team,nnI am writing this to formally raise a serious concern regarding the way I was treated by one of your staff members, Elaine, during my visit to your store today 13th April 2025 around 4:00PM.nnI left the store feeling angry, disrespected, and humiliated—treated as though I was a criminal for simply collecting loose lettuce leaves that had already fallen off and were clearly destined for disposal. I want to make it very clear that I did not peel or remove any fresh lettuce leaves from the heads on the shelf. I was simply picking up what I believed was rubbish, as I’ve done before with no issue. In fact, a staff member on a previous visit told me it was okay to do so.nnHowever, today Elaine approached me and spoke in a manner that was deeply unprofessional and completely lacking in respect. She accused me—without proof—of removing leaves from the lettuces and claimed that a customer had reported me and that the cameras had captured me doing so. That accusation was not only false but extremely insulting. If the footage is reviewed, it will clearly show that I was not removing anything other than what was already detached.nnI would not be writing this if she had approached me politely or simply reminded me of a store policy. But the tone she used and the way she addressed me felt judgmental, aggressive, and degrading. It was not the conduct of someone trained in customer service, nor was it the kind of experience anyone should have to go through in your store.nnWhat saddens me most is that I walked in as a loyal customer, and walked out feeling like I had been profiled or treated as though I had done something wrong—when I hadn’t. No customer deserves to be treated that way.nnI strongly urge Coles to review this incident seriously. I ask that this complaint not be dismissed, and that management addresses Elaine’s behavior directly. She should be reminded of the importance of respectful communication and held accountable for how she treats customers. If this is not corrected, I fear others may be subjected to the same distress and embarrassment I experienced.nnThank you for your time and understanding.
Nice Coles in Werribee central, bit smaller than normal Coles, but have most of the line items. I like the vibe of the store. The staff is very helpful. Parking may be an issue due to the busy area and other shops around.
This coles is conveniently located with 2 big entrances from front side as well as from back with huge free parkingnnThe Aisles are well equipped with all the brands and their products.nStaff is good and helpful. went their for quick shopping and got everything easily..nnthere are many food outlets around this coles to have some food while do your grocery shopping
I was served today by Samantha . What a lovely young lady she is and with great customer service ! She deserve some recognition! If she sees this I was the customer that went back for corn flour ! keep it up !
Wonderful experience today. Nicole was very kind and smiled all the time.nAfter my shoping bill. She showed tremendous patience to help cash out $$. The attempt failed twice due to wrong account selection, she encouraged to use all options on the card to go through.nAmazing service, appreciate going for an extra mile.
