I am a support worker, and I shop at both Coles in Gisborne.and Woodend, for clients who cannot shop personally. I am rapidly becoming appalled by the low level of customer service delivered by both of these stores.nToday as usual, the only non self serve register was the 12 items or less aisle. Also as usual, the staff member whether by her own decision, or on directions from store management, treated me with discourtesy and apparent disdain. As I tried to unpack my basket, she grabbed my personal bag containing my keys, purse, and phone and ceremoniously flung it to the other side of the register. She also kept the belt running whilst I was trying to unpack and sort the items.nThis experience, and several others at both of these Coles stores is becoming outrageous. Neither stores answer their phones, and the complaints process on line is a complicated farce. You are going to lose customers if these matters are not addressed.
A lot of variety of goods to choose from. This is way better than the Coles in suburb that I'm living. We are more busy but not much of goods to choose from. This is an regional and I'm surprise that they good variety of choices of goods to choose from. The staff and friendly too.
Grocery store, with a large selection of products. They have very good cheddar cheese, bacon, coconut water and lamb savory.
Absolutely disgraceful customer service in here, had a trolley full at the counter to then be told that the register is closed and to go to another register, there was no other registers open only a 12 items or less so we cannot go there with well over 12 items so we told the worker this and then she just turned around and said tell the supervisor to open another register! This is not our job to do that! What disgusting customer service! Stuff going back there again yous don't deserve a 1 star!!
I can always get in and out nice and quick with everything I need. Carpark is bad, just a heads up. Staff have always been friendly to me and good for a chat. One staff member called Stef I think has helped me a few times. Great girl happy to help with whatever you need.
