I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome by the staff member at the service desk while purchasing cigarettes. I am transgender and she made it very clear through her speech and actions that she did not want to serve me. I was appalled at how rude she was while checking my identification.nnYour LGBTQ customers deserve better.
Has to be one of the worst managed Coles supermarkets I have ever shopped at.nProducts are always placed in the wrong spot.nSelf serve is horrendous, you get stared at by some workers who come off as very rude.nProduce section contains very mouldy fruit.nAldi and Woolworths are brilliant.nAvoid this place at all costs, it's horrible
Avoid if possible.nSomething has drastically changed with this supermarket.nI always held this store in very high regard but not anymore.nI am tired of my kids eating fruit with mould in it!nI do not like how careless this supermarket is now.nHopefully something changes for the sake of the locals who have shopped here for a long time
I have just left this store. I went in to buy nappies for a gift, when checking out I saw a blob of bird poo on the box. Bee was standing talking to another staff member. I approached her to let her know - she didn't take the box from my hand straight away. She let me know she was put out, didn't say anything to me, reluctantly took the box, gave me no eye contact. As I walked off to go and get a replacement, I asked her if she felt put out. She should have offered to go get a replacement, particularly given that she was standing talking to another staff member - very poor customer service skills!
Nice big store, but I hate staff hovering over me at self checkout. Bring back proper staffed checkouts.
