Lovely place to shop! Shopping here in last 6 months… friendly staff.. things are bit cheaper in prices compared to other supermarkets in Echuca!

Update: Returned to Coles to purchase a couple of items on special, six in total.  Potatoes advertised for $5.50 had incorrect potatoes displayed so charged $7.90.  4 packets of Maccona Coffee sachets scanned as 5.  Overcharged another $3.95.  Being in a hurry I didn't check receipt until returned home.  Not surprised for being overcharged a total of $6.50.   Just keeps happening, that's why it's necessary to keep your receipts nnPrevious post : One particular Deli staff member rude, she argued about what she thought I ordered but I was very clear in my request.  Check use by dates especially  in dairy section, cartons of Coles brand cream had only one day until expiry, the other cartons had 4 days shelf life.  Store extremely busy but much more than usual due to holiday makers, only 2 serviced checkouts open.  So many trollies waiting in both lines  when the young male cashier came out, put the closed sign at the end of the conveyer belt and told our queue that his register was closing as he was told he had to have a break.  Talk about timing, who does that, Supervisor who advised him to do that has no idea. Totally cheesed off I replied that I was not  going anywhere as the other line  was massive.  He was then told to stay open.  Everyone deserves a break, Supervisor should have gotten another staff member to replace him so he could have his break and allow the  register to stay open. To add insult to injury facial wipes clearly marked down to 1/2 price scanned at original $9 and it was scanned twice  making $4.50 purchase $18.00.  Had to go and get refunded.  Always get your receipt and check it, could be a costly mistake.

Why is it when you need to ring the Echuca about  problem of product store  you get transferred  to Clayton  store straight  away  and just rings  out  not good  enough  cole  my frist and last time  not happy

So disappointed today. I had 4 items so went to express lane... 12 items or less. 1st lady had 2 maybe 3 times that amount and gentleman in front of me had probably the 12, but in between each of customer, cashier served cigarettes even though they came in long after those of us waiting. I was furious, it was hot and I had other shopping in the car. You need more cashiers at the cigarettes counter and leave the person on express to be just that, or how about 2 people on express on a busy day.!!??nWent to Woolies had a laugh with the staff as they gave me a jokingly hard time about my Coles bag. I'll be changing them all now and going to Woolies
