Love how it’s never open when I need lol. Stuck outside with other customers at 8.00 pm with no one inside or answering the phone ?
Convenient service station right in the heart of Taringa. And now they've added $1 coffees into the mix. That’s the best value coffee you’ll get anywhere in Bris, where most coffees these days cost a min of $4. And it’s a pretty decent brew too, on a par with any you’d get anywhere else. The only problem is that there’s nowhere to sit down and drink it; so you either drink it in your car or take it away; but either way I can’t resist it. The last time I paid $1 for a cup of coffee was in 2000, the same year that the G.S.T. was introduced, which just goes to show the extent to which to which our little Aussie peso is rapidly becoming a worthless piece of paper!nnBut back to the petrol station. Another reason to love it is the ease of ingress and egress. It’s directly off Gailey Road, making it a breeze to enter it. The roadway leading out of the station is wide, with good vision making it fairly easy to re-enter Gailey Rd on your way out.nnThere’s a small selection of essential groceries in the little shop, including handy take-away sandwiches, which are ideal if you’re on the road or you don’t have time to make lunch yourself. I usually choose the chicken and avo, which is delicious and excellent value at only $5.nnThe guys who work here are always super friendly, helpful and polite, making it a pleasure to stop and fill up and buy something in the shop.nnAltogether, a really good station with plenty of bowsers, a useful convenience store on site with takeaway coffee, simple entry and exit and helpful and friendly staff. And keep the bottom of your Coles dockets for 4c off per litre of fuel. It’s not much but in these dire economic times, every bit helps.
Great friendly staff, always ask if there is anything else I need and always remind my to swipe my Flyby card.
Charged full price for a sandwich which I later discovered was out of date by 3 days
Good prices, always fast
