Only a smaller Coles store that usually has the staples and basics home brand items that I can't obtain elsewhere! Run out of goods quite regularly so it's off to the other nearby rival stores Woolworths and Drakes !This store is in need of a major update and improvement as it appears too compact and too olden to be competitive! The staff are helpful and friendly enough to get by ! It's far better to shop at their larger outlets such as Marion or Rundle Place,as there is much more of a variety in goods and products and their larger stores have personnel restocking their shelves all day long ! In effect the larger stores are much more comprehensively stocked and never seem to run out of stock ! Coles needs to build a larger store to keep up with their rivals otherwise this store will sadly and eventually fade into oblivion !
shelves never have what we want, shop at woolworths now,although I went to Findon shopped at the Coles there wow Why can't we have one in Aberfoyle like that.
This review applies to Coles as a whole, not just Aberfoyle Park. Ordered a bottle of wine for an anniversary not a cheap one either and, you guessed it, it's the one item missing from our order. Immediately logged it as missing via their online platform. No acknowledgement and no refund a week later. Rang Coles and was told that they can't refund alcohol online and that we had to go into the store. Seriously, Coles. it was your mistake, not ours and people get delivery so they don't have to go in to the store. Got down to the store they told us to go to and they couldn't refund us as they didn't have a liquor license! Gave us the same customer service people to call and still don't have our refund, as no one could help us and they had to send an email. What a joke their customer service is!
I like coles products but this store really needs a facelift. Everything just seems a bit old. Was a bit of a mess today had to avoid boxes walking down the aisle. The staff are always friendly and it’s always fast to get served but I imagine this is because everyone goes to the updates woolies down the road.
The obvious shift away from traditional checkouts is becoming a sore point among shoppers. Today, one checkout was open mid-afternoon with six people waiting with trollies. As well, the 12 items queue was also long. Despite it being patently obvious that people were getting frustrated waiting, no attempt was made to open more checkouts. It’s a bloody farce.nnUPDATE: April 4, 5.50pm one checkout open five customers with full trolleys.nWe waited 12 minutes. No attempt to open another checkout yet the staff were aware of the queue and the frustration. Piss poor management.
