This is about the camping site at Coes Ford. Great unappreciated site. Reasonably quiet in the evening. Clean and safe. Not very busy midsummer weekend nights. Sometimes locals play with quads on the nearby Selwyn riverbed. The river is not appropriate really for swimming art the moment and note that there is no shower or water for drinking, mouthwash or cooking. Bring water and a good book.

Disgusting water. Dairy run off has ruined this once beautiful place.
