Cocopelli Gourmet Pizza Bar

We stumbled on this place by chance while at The Palms doing some shopping on Sunday. We don't drink so opted to go here instead of the pub next door. Nice seating options outside which is good for summer, lots of shaded seating. We were really happy to see a special for discounted large pizzas on Sunday so we got one to share. Food was yummy, service was good and we appreciated having the server ask how the meal was going part way through, usually only fancy restaurants do this. Atmosphere was great, not too loud or busy when we went, music was a nice volume and having the screens up was good to have something to look at. The coke zero sugar I ordered tasted more like Diet Coke so not sure if this is what it was, if so I would recommend swapping to Coke Zero Sugar instead of Diet Coke as it's a lot nicer. Small suggestion. Also great to see you have an app and rewards program! Can't wait to try it out Loved our time there and will be back as regulars. Great when you want a meal on a budget and we are so happy we found a nice local place we both enjoy that has some affordable meal options and specials.

The service was fantastic, they were friendly and attentive! The food came out moderately fast. Plus it was delicious! Highly recommend the drinks!

If you’re looking for a reason to call into work sick tomorrow then you MUST have one of their pastas here. Will guarantee you vomiting in no time. Their oil soaked pasta dishes will be more enticing to invade than the Middle East. It’d be nice to see what I’m ordering first next time but since there weren’t any pictures prescribed, only a scheming description, I thought I’ll do everyone a public service and provide one on their behalf. Thanks Cocopelli, I’ll be spending my sick leave to mourn the Queen AND your pasta dishes.

Nice atmosphere and relaxing. Quiet big portions for French toast and tasty. Great to enjoy meal outside when sunnyday.

Stopped in for a Sunday Lunch, got an outside setting with great atmosphere around us, and plenty of room for our wee one in his stroller. Got a large half and half pizza and fries and gravy be sure to get these between 2 of us we made a dent but heaps leftover to take home. Service was excellent from start to finish, attentive but not overly so, they also allowed my wife to feed the grizzly baby inside, which was a nice touch too. Keep an eye out for the daily deals, and be sure to get a coffee, which was possibly the highlight of the whole meal as good as everything was! Great experience.

Reserved a table and had an evening meal. Service was good and the food was ok. However to be honest I have had better sea food chowder. Nonetheless it didn't put me off the meal as it still tasted good. The service was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking is fine but you have to look around as its normally quite full.

Had a great dining experience here. Food was delicious and service was very attentive and friendly. Dined here with the girls and definitely enjoyed our meals. Next time I'll bring my hubby and the kids. Will definitely be back

This place was awesome celebrating with whānau in Christchurch. Great food, with chips, wedges along with pizzas and steak.

I’m not entirely sure why I haven’t found the best pizza restaurant I’ve ever been to before but this meal was definitely a five star. When I saw how busy it was I wondered about the length of service but it was super quick, polite and unbelievably tasty. A huge range of Pizzas and a killer ice cream sundae plus a great beer menu made it a perfect evening. Apparently the restaurant manager has been there for a while and runs a super slick service crew. Well done everyone, you deserve all the great reviews. It is also children friendly and our group enjoyed a wonderful evening out together with the kids menu just as mouth watering.

I posted a review about a week ago and I just need to write another on my other account! We went back a few days later as we both loved this place so much the first time for feedback purposes, this review relates to all of the staff working the night of Wed 8th Feb approx 7pm. This time it was very busy on a weeknight, we received great service not from one but FIVE employees we interacted with while we were there. Every single person who took part in serving us from the lady who seated us, to the several waitresses who served us while we ordered and ate, to the lady who took my payment at the end of the meal was incredible to deal with. Warm, friendly and inviting, pleasant and helpful, one waitress even suggested we order our dessert with our mains to make sure they didn't sell out of it since it was busy. All staff looked happy to be there, which either means they are just great at putting a customer services face on, or it means they are treated well and have a great employer. We could not believe the standard of service we received while it was so busy, the food also came out in a reasonable time considering, and once again they asked how everything was once we had our food. I cannot understand the negative comments about this place - they literally ask you if everything is ok while you eat, if you aren't enjoying it let them know and give them a chance to rectify it while you're there! This place is incredible. I look forward to trying some of their other mains as I have only had pizzas so far, but the 3 we have tried have been awesome. Again the fact you do daily specials and have an app & loyalty program is just the icing on the cake - you guys are doing everything right! This is definitely going to continue to be a weekly outing for us that we look forward to every week. Thank you!
