Felt like I was interrupting the staff on the desk, and all the clocks are set to different times which is quite confusing! No one monitoring what’s going on in the lanes, so kids dominate across the swimming lanes too. Lovely spa although a could be hotter
Staff try their best to help the paying customers,hampered by management. I’ve tried by all the available means to have my issues resolved 1 speak with the staff on duty 2 fill out the complaint forms at the front desk -3 times which I included my phone number and asked for a callback ,to no availn3Finally managed to bail up the ‘Facility Manager’?? Explained to him as politely as I could about the lack of response to the issues being,lack of equipment for people doing rehab- lack of noodles and flotation boards for general public and rehab clients. This centre eagerly takes payments from rate payers and WorkSafe clients but does not provide equipment that is required for rehabilitation.The payment that WorkSafe provides is exceptionally higher than the general public pays . Being both a ratepayer and a WorkSafe client I find this beyond belief. This centre has equipment for the Aqua Arobics classes and for the swimming classes,.And upper management has instructed the staff on the ground to confiscate any equipment that the general public or rehab clients are using which are allocated to arobics and swim lessons, one would understand if they were being used whilst they were required for the other classes but generally if not always there are plenty of unused equipment available that we cannot use. This issue has been brought to the attention of management for over 3months .No feed back , and only if l manage to bail up the facilities management do I get any feed back , not acceptable feed back just drivel that they hope would placate me . To offer to sell Equipment to those that need them is a JOKE!!! Frustrated Rate Payer .Lou Larubina
As soon as you walk in the staff smile at you.The place has all the facilities you need.It also has child or day care service for parents who wish to get fitness while reliable people look after theirnkids.It is clean and would make you feel relaxed. It is very close to shopping centresand surrounds with other communal facilities. The parking area is huge.
I’ve been a member here for a couple of years and love it. I started training with Deeana a few months ago and have to say, it’s really making a difference. She really takes her time to understand your goals, and is so knowledgable and focused on helping you reach them. I’m learning so much and can feel I’m getting stronger. The best trainer!! Thank you, Deeana.
Swimming lessons are generally good, but the billing system is confusing and inconsistent.nnBe aware that if your lesson falls on a public holiday or during a centre closure, you’ll still be charged, and no make-up class is automatically offered. You’re expected to submit an absence request and use one of your limited make-up tokens only 8 per year, which feels unfair when those days are beyond your control. Most families prefer to save tokens for actual absences like illness or travel, especially since lessons continue during school holidays.nnTo make matters worse, staff seem unclear on the policy - I received three different answers:n- One said make-up tokens for public holidays are applied automatically they weren’t.n- Another said we had to submit an absence request.n- The last said we didn’t need to do anything and wouldn’t be charged we were.nnhopefully, this is something the centre can review and improve
