Great little hike. Easy walk to the first falls, fun unmarked scramble thereon to the next 2 falls. Each waterfall is spectacular. Very muddy after a rain so wear boots/shoes you don't care too much for!
Fantastic trail! You park at the mini Car Park which is at the start of Clover Hill Road, just off the main road. It only holds around 10 cars so would recommend getting there early. The walk to Rainbow Falls is flat and along a track. The rest of the Falls on the trail are pretty difficult to get to. There is quite a bit of scrambling required. I'd recommend to check out a hiking website to get a thorough explanation on how to get through the trail. We used a book called Day Trip Sydney to find Clover Hill Falls, but the explanation is pretty poor. I've attached the pictures which may be of use! The effort is will worth it in the ending though! But be warned that it's a decent hike. It took us 4 hours in total.
Beautiful place to visit. It’s easy to get to the first waterfall, the second one which is absolutely beautiful and much bigger requires some level of fitness. I could not find a track maybe there isn’t one for that there’s a bit of climbing between trees and rocks. Overall worth the visit if you love nature.Recommended activitiesHikingParking spaceDifficult to find parking
This place is so so nice!! There are TWO WATERFALLS!! After the first one keep going on the left of the waterfall and you will find the second one. The terrain is quite slippery so wear good shoes, clothes you don’t really care about and don’t give up! after the first waterfall, keep going and when you get a chance go more to the right so you can reach the second waterfall, much bigger and heaps cleaner!
Exciting drive up the mountain to the start of the trail. Don't miss the turn otherwise you'll be driving for a while to find a safe section to u-turn. Parking lot ground is uneven and severely congested Saturday midday. Extra cars parked along side of the road. Trail starts off nice and easy. First waterfall is nice. Second waterfall good for swimming. But the final waterfall at the end is a nice and challenging climb. Water is a little icy but amazing. Nice seating areas on the rocks at the end. Such a rewarding hike.
This is a very scenic rain forest. Not a very hard track to hike. Some times you feel little spooky when you are doing the trail alone closer to the sunset. You will see few water falls in the trail and those are absolutely beautiful. You may have a swim in the ponds that you get in this trail.
My favourite walk in Macquarie pass! A 10-15 minute walk from the park and you'll hit a small creek that you can follow as far up as you want. Depending on your time and fitness level there are a few waterfalls to climb and an amazing swimming hole at an equally amazing waterfall. Definitely check it out if you have a day to kill.
Great track! First half hour walking is quite relaxing. To get to the waterfall you’ll need to do a bit of climbing.
Good walk, not to challenging at all and lots to see and appreciate.
Nice quite walking track with cute widelife Hard to find a parking if u get there late
