We had a wonderful experience at the Clifton Springs Golf Club. The service from Ricki was exceptional — a young lady with genuine panache, charisma and a warm, engaging manner that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.nnMy partner is vegan, and while the menu options were not entirely clear, Ricki immediately took the initiative to speak directly with the chef. What followed was service that truly went above and beyond. The chef was not only accommodating, but clearly passionate and highly skilled, creating a thoughtful and delicious meal with great care and creativity.nnIt is increasingly rare to encounter a team so willing to personalise the dining experience and make guests feel genuinely valued. Between Ricki’s outstanding hospitality and the chef’s impressive kitchen skills, our visit became far more than just a meal — it was a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
We hadn’t been back to Clifton Springs Golf Club Bistro for the last few years due to disappointing food and unfriendly service, but after hearing they had new management and staff, we decided to give it another try — and we are so glad we did!nFrom the moment we arrived tonight, every staff member was warm, welcoming and genuinely lovely. A special mention to our waitress Lauren, who was absolutely wonderful. She had such a bubbly, friendly personality from the word go and shared a few laughs with us, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.nThe food was outstanding. We ordered the Whiting and it was absolutely delicious — beautifully cooked and full of flavour.nIt’s fantastic to see such a huge improvement. The new management and team are clearly doing an amazing job. We’ll definitely be coming back on a regular basis from now on. Highly recommend!
Was surprised at how much this place has improved! Getting through the door to be directed to our table took a bit of time otherwise I was pleasantly surprised how lovely the staff were. Food was good. Staff friendly & efficient. Well done team. Will be back
Last minute Saturday night drink with friends turned into an unexpected trivia night. We did badly but it was a great night with great atmosphere. Looking forward the next. The management team seem awesome and it’s great to see
