Worst train station in Melbourne to drive through on Ramsden  Street. You wait 7 minutes + just to get through one set of railway tracks. It’s pathetic and causes road rage and people to be late for work. Horrible.

There is lots of parking spots around the place. Disable access to station from car park. Also there is public toilets.

Changeover station point for 3 separate lines, very clean and easy to get around and get directions from the staff at the station who are always interested in helping you out

Clifton Hill station is similar to most Metro train stations, unkempt, unmaintained, and understaffed. Depending on what time you are there you might see some PTOs meandering through between train rides, or the odd staff member sticking their head out of the side office to check the surroundings. With the fact that Clifton Hill is the swap point for two lines, and the fact it is where a lot of trains stop and wait when there are issues up the line, you would think the staff would be better informed. More than once they have given contradictory information on times and status of incoming trains, only to visibly load and check Metro's twitter feed for confirmation. Not their fault, they were never given a chance.

Need to know if you want to cross to the other side of the track, you need to go through a small underpass.
