Great place for a farmer's market feed for breeky and a hot sauce. See Chris at Traditional Mexican salsa has soon lovly Flavas and a couple of hots ones to. Always awesome getting to pat the dog's and animals.
Had whitebait fritter on a piece of wholemeal bread with lemon and tartar sauce - it was one of the greatest culinary experiences I had in NZ. Markets were apparently quieter than usual, but there was still heaps of interesting stalls. Better markets than I've experienced in Aus.
Perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast trip. Even more perfect on a sunny day. Plenty of food options along with the usual fresh fruit/veg market. Dog friendly too which gives it an authentic farmers market atmosphere. Always easy to park as well.
Came back for the second time because I had such nice memories. The crowd was disproportionate compared to the stalls. If you bring your dog it could be slightly stressful, I suggest you to come around 11.45am. A picnic blanket would be useful because tables get easily occupied. Bring tolerance, kindness and patience as well, you will need tons.
Great place for fresh produce and variety of foods to try, excellent small owned stalls, good seating selection outside, could do with a little more, very pet friendly, good music and entertainment. Fantastic morning thing to do.
This place is big compare to other farmers market has lots of fresh as well as dry goods. Good place for having a snack too lots of food stalls. Like going there once a while as it is quite a way for me to get there
It was ok, as expected prices are a bit high. Some nice food to try. Actually kind of small for that many people going through. Bring your own coffee cup or pay $5 to borrow one of theirs. Only one coffee place make getting coffee and returning the cup quite slow.
Stopped in for the Sunday markets. Very busy, parking was at a premium and a guy with a guitar entertaining those there. Mostly food and related products. Nothing we needed today, but seems very popular!
A location with huge varities of fresh vegetation and seasonal products, including a series of fast food stalls. Strawberry ice cream taste good but not good value ... $6.00 nzd...
Such a lovely atmosphere with brilliant entertainment. The largest selection on yummy treats I've ever seen at a market, with almost all vendors offering taste tests. I was almost full before I'd decided what to eat! Definitely a must-do when in the area.
