This was our first visit to Clarinda Library, and we really enjoyed it. They offer Storytime on Fridays and also on the second Saturday of the month during school terms, which is very thoughtful for working parents. It’s a fun program for young children to listen to stories and sing songs together. A lovely chance for dad-and-daughter time too.
I've been studying here for years now and I love how quiet it is while still feeling warm and lively. There is plenty of room, free wifi and plenty of books to catch your eye. And the staff are absolutely lovely!
Came in today with my kids looking for rhyming books Ms. JULIA was so friendly and very welcoming helped my kids with finding the books also offered my son and daughter stickers..great customer service
It’s small, but they make great use of the space.nEvery section is thoughtfully arranged.nThey manage to offer a wide variety of materials.nIt’s a nice place to pop in and grab something quick.nEvents for kids and adults happen pretty regularly.nStaff are courteous and know their stuff.nIt feels like a true neighborhood library.
Small quiet library with a decent range of books to choose from in many different languages. They also have a space for children to play outside and an area for you to study. You won't find everything you would need here, but the staff are friendly and can help you find what you need in other libraries or on the web.
