Established in Mount Isa since 2006, Clancy Corporation Pty Ltd is a dynamic locally owned electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration and signage company.

From humble beginnings as a husband and wife team, Clancy Corporation Pty Ltd has developed into one of the North Wests largest and most respected local businesses with a second to none reputation.

From air conditioning, to switch boards, solar grid connect to signage Clancy Corporation Pty Ltd’s team of highly qualified professionals are prepared to meet your every need. With over 50 employees, speciality equipment and a fully equipped fleet no job is too big or small.




Our history

Dave Clancy Electrical was established in March 2006 by Dave and Lisa Clancy. Beginning as a husband and wife partnership with over 18 years’ experience in the industry Dave and Lisa employed their first qualified Electrician in April 2006, followed by a first year Apprentice in May 2006.

In April of 2009 Dave Clancy Electrical became a company known as Clancy Corporation Pty Ltd. In May 2009 the business had grown substantially calling for a move from their home office to a large industrial premises where they are still located today in Traders Way, Mount Isa.

In August 2009, the Clancy Corporation expanded once again to include Clancy Sign Centre, a comprehensive signage business. Operated by Dave’s sister Christine a qualified Graphic Designer the Sign Centre also utilised the Traders Way premises and diversified the business to satisfy even more customer requirements.

On the 1st September 2009 Dave Clancy Electrical took a step forward towards a greener future launching into Solar Grid Connect Systems, being the first local contractor in Mount Isa to install Solar Panels for domestic and business customers.

In October 2012 the company expanded to incorporate the purchase of Locco Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Over the past years the business has grown significantly today boasting a staff of over 50 locally based employees.

Dave and Lisa compliment the ability to retain staff and a great team environment as the keys to their business success. With a social club and comprehensive staff training program the Clancy team assure their team are able to develop their skills and keep abreast and up to date with changes in the industry with new and improved technology. Dave and Lisa say the second key to their success is the ability to provide their clients with great quality work, reliable and prompt service.

Dave and Lisa Clancy have seized the opportunity to expand their business not only in the domestic market but also taking advantage of the mining boom in the North West region. Promoting green energy and sustainability throughout the company and the community the Clancy Corporation are a true example of business leaders in the North West.
