Not very happy with the visit. The shop is definately a mess and jammed. Hard to look properly without clothes getting stuck on hangers. Theres a few specials but one dress that is a very old release was $120 and not that cheap for a discount outlet. The staff are cold and didnt feel very welcome.
17th of August I had come in looking to buy an event outfit I USED to enjoy the atmosphere of the City chic DFO. I forgot why I shop here as often and was reminded as to why.. I was not greeted upon arriving in store, I had asked for a price of something because there is was no price on the tag, the employee did not hand it back to me nor did she ask if I wanted to purchase the item. Small things make a big impact on service. City Chic where have all your bright lovely attentive staff gone!
Super sad they didn’t stay open till 7pm like the rest of the stores. At least Brandon, Seed and witchery took the $1500 I had to spend.
Staff were sensational and worked so hard to help us find the perfect outfit!
Try on, don't ask the staff to judge your sizing. I had screaming twins so couldn't try anything on, was advised I'd be a large. Got home and dress didn't fit. Went to return but I'd lost the receipt so wouldn't exchange for a new dress. Had proof on afterpay Purchased new dress and I'm in fact a Small. The shop is great for curvy women and lots to choose from. Staff are polite and helpful Returns policy sucks though. Anyone want to buy a Mustard Dress in L?
The DFO store looks like a like a LIFELINE shop it so disorganised and all the racks are so JAMMED full it is hard to look through the racks and plus the STAFF sit on a chair in the STAFF AREA with the door opened and work the change rooms while SITTING DOWN and as it looks like LIFELINE you are waiting for a COUNSELLOR to walk out of change rooms and ask NEXT PLEASE when ask staff to help find stuff the respond is am sure were it may be as it all through the store as it is not in any from of organised. as well the store look dirty and smelly as there are box under racks & packed around the walls.
Staff, very friendly and helpful. Clothes are sorted well into colour and styles however the Racks are packed too tight and it is difficult to see or get things out too see size or prices. I did get 2 dresses that look nice, just wish they used a different material to polyester. Do they not realise polyester doesn't breath and makes you sweat ‍ Excellent choice of fabric for those who have additional insulation to keep them warm ‍
The lovely sales lady with short hair and glasses forgot to ask her for a name picked out a gorgeous floral dress for me. Excellent service!
Courtney was amazing, she was so lovely and incredibly helpful. First store I went to and found my dress! Thank you.
Islander lady serving was very informative, attentive and extremely personable. The actual store was nice but a little light on stock compared to other City Chic stores I've attended.
