The first time I came to this church, I thought everyone was lovely and really friendly. I was pleasantly surprised at all the people who took time to say hello. The next week I returned for the second time and had a different experience. I enjoyed the service, even if the sermon went in circles and could have ended a little earlier. No-one came to talk to me after the service until I was leaving when a man followed me out the door and told me to try another church the next Sunday. He made me uncomfortable and insinuated that this church probably wasn't for my age group (I'm between 20-30). He explained that this church wasn't for everyone and that I needed to be invited in with someone rather than turning up to church on my own. I was shocked. Not a pleasant place. Disappointed that I am still searching for a church in the area.
