An initiative of Christ Church Anglican Parish, Acland Street, St Kilda, our Community Centre opened in 2003. The Centre includes multi-purpose spaces & a training kitchen.
We have a small committee and the members are people from the local and wider community. A great team of volunteers help the 4 part-time paid workers provide programs and support for a wide range of individuals and groups.
CCMI’s mission is to promote social well-being and social inclusion locally. We seek to provide – and improve – local care, support & relief services based in or run from the Centre, and to involve the local community, encourage volunteers & promote awareness and acceptance of diversity.
