Chop 'n Wok

Love a quick Asian meal. The Chop and Wok will be my best pick. The vegetarian fried rice and the combo special will be my favourite options. Lunch time is always busy. The foods freshly prepared each day from about 10am. Highly recommended! Also a great way to support local Eatery. This store located in the South City Mall food court area.

$9.50 for fish and chips. $12.50?? For small dish to pick two. Normally Chinese are ok any country to eat. But this shop was totally different. Fish was cooked with low temperature so fish was so oily and soggy. Chips were cooked ages ago so you know what it like. Other dish was ok but cold even shop staff picked from warmer. Most welcome to try how bad they are. I have traveled 45contries this was worst ever. McDonald's are much better in south city mall.

Lovely Chinese take away. The vegetarian fried rice is my favourite. However the big portion combo special with rice or noodle with choice of 3 mains. Highly recommended! Located in the foodcourt of the South City Mall.

EDIT: Do NOT order from this restaurant if you don't want to get SICK! A day after my visit, I got terrible diarrhea which lasted for days. --- I ordered the 2-choice combo for $6.5. Had the noodles with sweet and sour pork and chilly beef. The food tasted better than it looked. However, I'm pretty sure I wasn't eating pork in my sweet and sour pork, because it didn't taste like it. I didn't manage to photo my meal but here's my friend's half eaten noodles, sweet and sour pork and black bean beef.

Food was “cold” room temperature and tasteless. BBQ bun would be quite good if it was hot. I’m surely not coming back in hurry…

Avoid the Crispy chicken at all costs. This used to be quite nice but the last few times it has been inedible . The "chicken" tasted rancid and was tough. The texture had a shiny rubbery look and we ended up throwing away the 2 pieces. Don't be deceived by the look of it-It was bad. I gave it a 2nd chance but now there wont be a 3rd . :

One of the best tastiest Chinese meals ever. And great value for money. I've been eating there since 2009 of course occasionally when I came to Christchurch and the food quality, sizes are constantly superior and prices are very low comparing other places in the mall or elsewhere. My favourites are small combo of fried rise work carrot beef and BBQ pork. A must have combination! Of course other ones are tasty as well. Can only recommend to give a try instead of next by Mc Donald's

They make world's best, tastiest yummy Chicken fried rice. I have tried in many other places but this taste is far better than others. It has been 5 years since I have last visited this place. Missing it badly. . Asian food is the best. Chop n wok is best of all.

Excellent service. Had Wonton Noodle Soup today. Very satisfying! Be back to try other dishes.

Just got the chicken satay wasn’t cooked properly took it back lady didn’t even let me finish showing her she kept saying it’s cooked it was raw I hope I won’t be Sick no customer service at all not nice at all
