Chooks on the Beach Collaroy

Love their chicken always delicious. Their chips are the best! Service always fast. We go here once a week and never disappointed. Nice job Chooks.

I was appalled and disgusted at the shameful customer service. 45 min for 2 burgers and chips. Store was not busy. But the owner was too rude or greedy to tell us of the 20 phone orders placed in front of us. A little courtesy goes a long way. Yes we would have gone elsewhere, but now, we will never go there again or give over hard earned money to a business who treated its customers so badly

Been wanting to go here for ages BUT! Everytime I go the place is shut! Change your avertisment as sick of wasting petrol it's Sunday says u shut at 7 it is now 230! Be nice if I get a reply to this review to as you should acknowledge feed back

Quite dissapointing, purchased 3 chicken Schnitzel burgers and all three had very strange chicken. Chicken was very stringy and almost firm did not feel like chicken I have no idea what was wrong with it but the texture of the chicken was like nothing I'd tried before and it didn't really taste like chicken. Didn't eat it as it wasn't very pleasent at all. Fries were okay but nothing amazing. Shame I've eaten there before years ago and no issues, not sure I will go again.

Tremendous food for a very reasonable price. And the girl running the kitchen and the register bree is doing the job of 5 people. She cooks, takes orders, cleans and does it all with a smiling face. We don't see much of these dedicated staff these days. Totally recommend this place.

I live close by and have been here a few times. I agree with what the other person said about food safety not being very high here. I occasionally grab a chicken burger, they have never been good, ok at best. The chips always seem to have a ridiculous amount of salt on them making them almost inedible and they taste like the oil hasn't been changed in a long time. Yesterday though I had a burger and the chicken tasted tough and old the burger looked like a truck had run it over and there was a 1:1 ratio of chips to salt almost. As I was finishing eating my burger I became suddenly sick and ran to the toilet to vomit. I would suspect the chicken being old and not great. I wont be back, the prices are very high for what you get as well.

As a take away business on a main busy road, don’t advertise you close at 8pm every night if your going to shut at 7.25pm..... I also had a Collaroy burger from here the other day, not only was my lettuce stale and brown and drowned in sauce, my chicken fillet would have been no bigger than 80gms and so over cooked I could throw it like a frisbee. I over heard the owner talking to another customer saying how tight people are these days they don’t want to spend $16 on a bbq chicken.... my advice, if you continue to speak rudely to your customers and produce below average products.. generally people don’t want to give you there $16. This is the only chicken shop for kms along the beach, c’mon put some love into your burgers man!

Find mould on the bread after the owner says "just chuck it in the microwave of its hard" Called up to let him know and he has a go at me! Telling me there is no way there is mould and he's going to drive to my house to collect the mould bread! Unacceptable and disgusting to treat a human let alone a customer that way! I'm scared to go near there again!

All they cared about was the uber eats customer's. I sat there with a 2 year old for 40 mins waiting for 2 meals. Many people who ordered after us, received food before us...I had to ask after 40 mins before anything happened!

I just ate the best hamburger I've had in a loooooong time. We ordered 5 burgers and the whole family raved about them. Excellent. Love love loved.
