We tried to book Ormeggio but they don’t open on a Monday so were recommended trying their little restaurant next door called Chiosco which we did. more laid back and relaxed in fact probably more our style than Ormeggio. The whole experience was enjoyable with great views across the bays delicious food and top service. Well done.
Every winter, Chiosco hosts themed culinary nights focusing on different regions of Italy. This time, I tried “Travelling Italy – Barolo.” Overall, the experience felt like enjoying comforting homemade dishes, reflecting the produce and character of the mountainous region. As always, every dish was incredibly delicious.nnHowever, the service wasn’t as warm or experienced as in the past. That said, it’s still worth visiting to try their food.
We had an early Christmas lunch at Chiosco on Saturday. Food, as always, was fabulous - I could live on the vitello tonnato. Service was friendly and efficient. Great location. Absolutely one of my favourite places to eat in Sydney. We all had a fantastic time. Can't wait to go back.
Came here for office Christmas lunch, so unfortunately the review will not be based on their normal menu. Food are quite nice. Ambience is good as its overlooking the marina, could be too hot and bright when the sun is out dont forget your sunnies!. Service is also attentive and quick. Overall, the lunch was nice but we definitely need to come back ourselves.
