Beautiful garden!!!! Lovely to stroll through on a sunny day. Interesting rock shapes all throughout the gardens. Mostly flat to walk around but there are a couple of sets of long staircases around the garden that lead to a lovely spot at the top where you can view the whole garden from above. Toilet facilities on-site. Kid friendly. Worth a visit.
The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a beautiful oasis in the heart of a very busy city. It was such a lovely experience to walk through the various areas of the gardens. Every aspect has been thoughtfully designed. You can spend as much time as you like once you pay the small entry fee. You can even end the walk with lunch or tea in the little restaurant at the exit.
This place is so beautiful that if I wasn’t so British and stoic I’d cry. It has beautiful plants and fish and scenery, and the way everything is set up and organised is beautiful. There’s so much to look at, it’s like one of those super detailed paintings except it’s real! It is also very peaceful. Especially great for anyone who loves high visual but low audio sensory input, but I recommend a visit for anyone.
Chinese garden that you can feel in Australia. Everywhere was so neat and beautiful that I could feel how hard they worked to manage the garden. I want to say that it is the prettiest garden I have ever been to in Sydney. I only visited in the evening, but I really want to revisit in the morning next time. There are many restaurants and walking courses around, so it is a very suitable place for weekends and dating courses because of its excellent location.
Chinese Garden of Friendship is a must to visit in Sydney. I have visited plenty of gardens and this one is one of my top favourites. located in the heart of Sydney Darling harbour with easy access via public transport. Entry fee is 8$ for adults and 4$ for kids. A good option to spend time with family while enjoying the beauty of the garden. Highly recommended!
Was a sunny day and being in the garden made it a worthy visit. Can’t complain much but any signs like where to start would have been great. Lastly the toilets were up to the mark. The Entrance fee was charged 8$ for an adult. Concession card holders 4$ not sure.
Paid$ 45 for Nature Illuminated entry fee per adult. The price is a bit expensive for the size of the garden. You can make your way around the garden in about 15 minutes but allow 25 minutes to fully take everything in. Well kept garden right in the middle of busy Sydney towers! For me it's a once only experience and I wont return again as it felt too small. It's great for people who are looking for ideas for a Chinese inspired garden at home and definitely for some good photos.
One of our favourite spots in Sydney, this should be on everyone's Must Visit Places here. Right in the heart of the city it's no less than a wonder as to how beautifully they have managed to take care of this humongous spot of beauty and nature. Worth every penny spent. There is a restaurant inside for those who want to soak in the ambience a bit more.
Has to be coolest Asian inspired garden in all of Australia, reasonable entry price and don’t worry about those scary and prickly lizards they won’t harm you! I would recommend to go early and take your time to explore and just unwind there and be there for the fish feeding time I was there at 11am for the feeding. Be careful of the spider webs in some parts of garden they don’t look like fun if you get near it and stay on the paths!
We visited the gardens as part of the Nature Illuminated event. They are beautiful especially at night with the lighting. Before you go, check that all parts of the garden are open as we found one large area was closed off so didn't feel we got value for our money.
