Everyone should give this restaurant another chance! Since it was taken over by new owners earlier this year, the food has become incredibly delicious. The dim sum and roasted meats are amazing. I highly recommend trying it out—it’s not even expensive! Living in the northern area, I’m so glad that I finally don’t have to drive all the way to Northbridge just to have dim sum.nnAlthough their dim sum and roasted meats are delicious, the highlight is actually their dinner service. The head chef’s dishes are packed with “wok hei” that unique, smoky flavor from stir-frying, and the food is genuinely amazing. nnThese days, I basically go there at least once a week—it’s just too outstanding!

I ordered a sizeable meal and within 20 minutes it was delivered, cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted delicious. The delivery driver was friendly & professional. Really nice. I'm impressed with the delivery time.  Amazing. Will definitely order from China Palace again. Thank you

The interior was dirty, thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt anyway. Service was amazingly slow as they only had one person working. The Chinese tea was horrible, we were given forks instead of chopsticks and no napkins. Three tables sat for over half an hour without being cleared. If we don’t get food poisoning it will be a small miracle.

I feel bad writing this as the new owners seem very passionate and like they really care about their customers but it has to be shared. We ordered cashew chicken and mixed veggies with garlic sauce today. My first mouthful and the chopsticks came out with a cockroach leg on them. Sadly I couldn't finish the meal. My boyfriend though kept eating. Unfortunately I won't be back. I do recall when they closed and I could see the efforts the new owners were going to in regards to the cleanliness of the place but a cockroach leg in my first bite has truly put me off. Otherwise it would have been a high review. My boyfriend found another leg in his meal so he won't be back either. That's what he gets for taking the gamble

My experience at China Place Restaurant was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice mix of modern and traditional Chinese mean that made the space feel cozy yet elegant. I was immediately drawn to the extensive menu, which featured a great variety of authentic Chinese dishes. I couldn’t resist trying their noodle, and it did not disappoint—the noodle were perfectly cooked and packed with delicious flavors.nnWhat really made the evening special was the service. My waiter, Duncan, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made excellent recommendations and checked in on us just the right amount of times without being overbearing. I could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great dining experience.nnI also appreciated how accommodating they were with dietary preferences. They had plenty of options for different needs, and the kitchen was happy to adjust dishes when necessary. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, which made the meal feel like a great value.nnOverall, I had a wonderful time at China Place. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!
