One of the best Walkerville restaurants! Warm dining environment and friendly service staff, Indian food here is definitely worth trying. We ate here during a busy dinner time and the wait wasn't too long. If you like sweet curry, then I would recommend you to try the mango chicken. Mango Chicken has curry, mango juice and cream. If you like spicy food very much, Chennai fish curry is worth trying, but it will be very spicy !
Tastiest Delicious South indian food with great flavours. Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonable prices. Good variety of menu items. Would highly recommend. Good for families / small groups
Excellent South Indian breakfast tiffin options on the buffet. Dosa of choice can be ordered along with the buffet as well. Every item was well prepared and very tasty. Especially surprised by the red rice idli. Must try if you are pining for Indian food.
Proper South Indian breakfast we had. Chicken 65 is sooo good as we ate in India dhaba’s. only biryani is not South Indian style but it is great.
We dined at the Chennai Palace. Worst experience. First of all Poor customer service. We ordered Methuvada for a starter. Turned out to be very spicy. Struggled to eat. I ordered Beef korma and Naan for the main course. Korma was too salty. Overall my experience at Chennai Palace was a bit of disappointment. I'm sure they will work on improving the customer service. Have to think twice before paying another visit.

Amazing authentic Indian food! We've been here several times whenever we have friends & family come down to Adelaide. The restaurant is clean & the staff are friendly & helpful. We also like the Sunday buffet. So many options for less than $20 per head. We've also had Chennai Palace cater for some of our community events & gatherings. Food was of high quality & was always delivered on time. Tasty food & generous potions - money well worth spent. I find it easy to communicate with the team, helpful in picking the menu & has been accomodating our requests around dietary requirements.
We recently hosted a party at their banquet hall for about 60 people. The owners offered me a good selection of food at an unbeatable price. They did the special decor to make the place perfect for the party. Awesome food and lovely ambience! The guests left with lots of positive review about this place.
Really enjoyed the Onam Festival food. It was on banana leave with a lot of vegetables variety. Loved the options of curries. Service was good, Very friendly and fast service. Overall i am a very satisfied customer! I definitely recommend them
Extremely poor service on a Saturday evening, orders placed never arrived on the table but charged in the bill, when requested to be taken off the bill they asked us whether we would like to pack our ‘Tea’. The lady who was apparently the manager was extremely rude when the issue was raised to her not just to the serving staff but also to us and started sharing irrelevant excuses for poor service. They completely forgot one of our orders and when we requested them to cancel it they brought it on the table and the manager blatantly lied that it took extra long time because the order was in queue. They also forgot one of the main dishes we ordered, however, they didn’t include that in the bill.
