This Chemist Warehouse location in Newtown is one of the best CW stores I have ever shopped in and much of this is due to their professional and conscientious Store Manager Sam!nShe is so friendly and helpful, particularly with the fragrances, that I now buy ALL my fragrances from this store. The other staff members are also friendly and approachable and this I am sure is due to the direction they receive from the top, within the store. Sam sets such a wonderful example!nI highly recommend this particular location for all your pharmaceutical, beauty and fragrance items. Thank you and well done for being the type of representation, any organisation would be happy to have be their first line of defence!nBravo and Five Stars!

Utterly disappointed in the customer service at this Chemist! There was countless miss advertising in regards to the beauty/toiletries bag when you spend over $65. The staff were no help at all. I somehow did not qualify for the bag, yet someone i know did and they bought the exact same items as me! I spent over $80 on skincare/cosmetics and the staff told me i did not qualify. Not sympathetic. Nothing. Each time i’ve shopped here, the staff have been rude and abrupt. Good customer service is hard to come by these days!

I experienced the worst customer service from the Malay or Singapore accent Chinese female pharmacist. There were two very similar products in same shelf so that I got a wrong one. I found it when I saw the receipt and went back to change to a right one in a minute, as there was no more stock the staff asked that pharmacist to help me to refund. She didn’t ask me anything and did a wrong refund. When I told her it’s wrong she didn’t listen and asked me stop talking. When she checked with the staff what happened, she blamed me and said I didn’t explain clearly. What??? She didn’t listen and give me a second to say anything. She’s very rude and arrogant to me.

I came here for the prescription for sick leave at 8:30pm the lady on the counter was serving other person and she took 10mins to serve and 15 mins on the call, she came back to me saying that go for the online and they won't do the prescription at this time. What a waste of time, I went to a different chemist warehouse in Glenorchy literally 5mins before closing and they did the job for me.

Long wait times, congested store and rude chemist! To be more specific, it is the Asian guy, can't name him as he didn't have a name tag. If you are getting paid to serve customers, atleast have a decency to treat customers with a warm greeting and smile.
