Friendly staff always offering to help. Not as busy as other Chemist Warehouses in the Bayside area which is nice as getting a prescription from here doesn't take anywhere near as long as the one in Mentone. Plenty of parking as well as it's part of a bigger complex near DFO.
I had a click and collect of some vitamins. When I arrived home I could see that the product had expired two months prior. Upon reporting this the staff were unhelpful by insisting that I return the product to their store before any refund could be made. Staff were rude and arrogant, in particular Winnie who made me feel as though I was wasting her time. Inconsiderate and unprofessional!! There is no excuse for selling out of date vitamins and then making the return process difficult!!!
I don't understand why they have received such poor ratings. They, from the greeting staff to cashiers, are super helpful and friendly.nI have visited quite a few pharmacies, and this place offers the best customer service.
I've been a customer to this Chemist warehouse since they opened. My experience with them had been great until yesterday morning.nnI've ordered few non-medical items the night before online for Click & collect. I received both text message and email that items were ready for collection. I went to pick them up on my way to work. I approached the counter and asked a female employee to help me collect my purchase. She scanned barcode that came with the text message. Then she asked for my driver's license which i couldn't produce straight away as myVicRoad app wouldn't open. I apologised for holding the queue and let her serve a customer who was waiting patiently. Then I remembered having my wallet on me. The female employee checked it and pushed the bags towards me then took it back asked me to produced a credit card I used to purchase items. I didn't have it in my wallet as I left it on bedside table after ordering the night before. I explained that it's not on me but I do have an email receipt on my mobile phone I received via email if that helps. The female employee cut me off before I could finished the sentence then said it's their procedure. I understood what she meant and asked to speak to her supervisor so I can explain the situation without getting her into a trouble for doing her job. The female employee rolled her eyes and made face at me and said to me 'stop being rude to me'. I replied that all I want is to pick my purchase up without getting her into a trouble when she was following the procedure, and I wasn't being rude it was her who made face. She then claimed that that was her normal face. She continued to yelled at me and pushed my purchase over the counter and told me to take it. I had to leave as I was on my way to work.nI rang Chemist warehouse Kingston Plaza as soon as I returned to my car and asked to speak to whoever was in charge. The person who answered the phone claimed she was the one. I explained what happened just minutes before. She listened, asked my name and contact number. She said she will get back to me. That was more than 24hrs ago. I don't believe I will hear from them.nI am still in shock from this incident.nI used to visit this particular shop couple of times a month. I could always find things I need and the services been always great.nI don't expect them to treat me special.nI expect them to treat their customer with respect. I shouldn't be cut off midsentence, eyes rolled at or yelled at by their employees.nI don't know what happened to that place since my visit last week.nCome to think of it, the female employee wasn't someone I was familiar with. Most of their employees were always very helpful and polite.nI don't think I will go back there for my needs.nGreatly disappointed!
