I went into Nambour Chemist Warehouse to make one small purchase. I was in and out very quickly. While the customer service staff were very polite and helpful, the security guard on departure wanted to see my small handbag. I was rather flustered as I have never been asked to inspect this bag before as it is smaller than an A4 piece of paper and barely holds my purse, let alone being able to steal anything with it. Not happy with just looking in, he wanted my purse removed as well. Obviously there wasn't anything in there but it felt very intrusive and threatening. I certainly won't be back to save a couple of dollars on a pack of paracetamol.
I’m a local to Nambour and it seems every time I go into this store it doesn’t seem to change. Staff are rude, super unhelpful, have no idea on how to communicate or to talk and treat customers. They constantly never take accountability when they make mistakes and look to always blame the customer or even your doctor I have seen and had this happen myself. Last night I was absolutely appalled from the way the manager treated and spoke to me when needing help with a script from them. I will no longer be coming to do my shopping at chemist warehouse Nambour.
