If I could give negative stars, I would.nnI am deeply concerned by the management practices at this store, particularly under the leadership of the Store Manager, Tamara. I have witnessed multiple instances of her verbally mistreating younger employees who are unable to stand up for themselves. On several occasions, I've seen these individuals visibly upset, even crying, which suggests the emotional toll this behaviour is taking on them. Additionally, it appears that the more experienced staff, who may have been able to provide support or speak up, have all been dismissed. Unfortunately, HR has not taken any action to address these troubling practices. This ongoing toxic environment is unacceptable and should be seriously investigated.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I feel it's important to stand up for something that I found quite surprising. I had seen the awful reviews here, which is why I usually avoid this place I have another one closer to home, but since I was in the area, I decided to stop by.nIt was around 7 p.m., so I expected the staff to be tired or eager to go home, but to my surprise, they were incredibly friendly and eager to help. The two girls at the counter were smiling and trying their best to find what I was looking for. When they couldn’t, they called what I believe was the manager a blonde hair woman, sorry I didn’t catch your name. She went above and beyond, looking everywhere for the product I needed. When we realised they didn’t have it in stock, she took the time to explain other similar products that might suit my needs. She was really knowledgeable, and in the end, I ended up with something even better. She even gave me a small free gift as a nice gesture!nI honestly don’t understand the negative reviews, and I highly recommend giving this shop a try. The service was excellent, and I had a great experience!
The verbal and mental abuse directed towards certain staff members by the manager is unprofessional and very upsetting.nIt appears that other staff members that are not subject to this negative and harmful behaviour are afraid to set forward for fear of the same treatment.nThe senior management seem to condone and support her behaviour.nOver the past years many staff who have enjoyed their jobs and the wonderful people of Nambour and the surrounding communities have had no choice but to leave due to the management style.nIt is time for senior management to step in to protect their young and vulnerable staff.nChemist Warehouse offers a great service to the community. Now it’s time to look after your staff they deserve better.
I think that the bosses of this place should allocate more funding for staff so that they're not so over-run... despite them being so clearly busy, the staff are lovely and understanding in the vast majority of cases. I think chemists warehouse is taking advantage of their buying power compared with the other pharmacies in the area, which is understandable but sad. The staff seem really nice. Chemists warehouse, be more fair to your employees!!
Pharmacy staff very pleasant and professional.nStore staff don’t want to be there.nFloor Manager has no time for general queries and was extremely rude to customers on both of the occasions I have had the misfortune to visit.
